#E1P1 Healing From a Breakup, 1 Year after Heartbreak

Why does a breakup hurt so much? How long does it take to get over it? What to do if I keep being reminded of our past memories? These were the questions I often asked myself when going through the breakup. It was devastating; the feeling of loneliness and the psychological struggles are difficult for someone to empathise with if they have never been through one.  Sometimes, a place, a photo, a screenshot of chat history or an item can also bring me back to the depressive state, the feeling of void & loss. In today’s episode, I invited my close friend, Leon, to explore the burns from a romantic breakup. We discussed our emotions after the breakup, what we did to cope and heal, and where we are now after a year.
