The One Where Teachers Buy Everything

🍻 The Super Fun Time Happy Hour — This Week! Choey and Jandler are back for another episode of education, entertainment, and wondering why adulthood requires so many passwords. 🏴 First, we give a very special England sponsor “shoutout” to HitVolley.com — the company apparently revolutionizing package delivery by figuring out exciting new places for your package to disappear. 📦❓ Thanks for…whatever it is you’re doing over there. 📋 THE YEARLY TRAININGS ARE COMPLETE! We survived another round of mandatory training questions featuring brain-busters like: “If a student is on fire, should you A) help them, or B) continue eating your sandwich?” Somehow, we passed. 🌍 Our “Cheers Around the World” song just got even more international because KENYA HAS ENTERED THE CHAT! At this rate, we're going to need a four-disc greatest-hits album just to finish saying cheers. ✏️ Then we discuss one of the strangest traditions in education: teachers spending their own money just to set up the classroom where they work. Imagine starting at an office and your boss saying, “Welcome aboard! Your cubicle is empty. Staples is down the street. Good luck.” 🚪 We also have an update on the mysterious 3rd Grade “rooms.” We put “rooms” in quotation marks because apparently walls, doors, and personal space are now considered optional upgrades in public education. 📺 STORY TIME! Jandler decides it’s finally time to cancel cable, beginning an epic adventure involving customer service, retention specialists, mysterious fees, and one company desperately trying to convince him that paying $187 a month to watch six channels is actually a fantastic deal. 🎬 And finally, grab your popcorn because we debut a brand-new segment: JANDLER AT THE MOVIES! Jandler reviews movies with all the authority of a professional film critic and all the sophistication of a man who considers the popcorn bucket part of the meal. It’s packages, pointless trainings, Kenya, broke teachers, questionable classrooms, cable-company warfare, and movie reviews… Just another completely normal week on The Super Fun Time Happy Hour. 🍻🐿️🐰
