This podcast tells the story of Yiddish culture in the Soviet Union with a special focus on the life of Yiddish writer Peretz Markish and introduces the listeners to Yiddish music and the history of modern Jewry in the USSR. The special guest of this podcast is David Markish, the son of the writer.
