    I had a nice visit with Betsy Sloan whom was a LPN and caregiver to her late husband Matt Sloan. Alzheimer's and Dementia seemed to run in both her and her husbands family and while she had been taking care of her husband, Betsy started to wonder why not many were speaking up for these folks suffering and not receiving proper care she decided in her 60's that she would be THAT VOICE and set out to her car where it was quiet with her smartphone and make a video to post to social media in regards to Alzheimer's and Dementia. That was just the beginning, Since then she began to search for guest spots on shows to spread her word and awareness and the necessity for advocacy   A Description from Betsy's Facebook group #KickAlzheimersAssMovement- I came up with #KickAlzheimersAssMovement because I want to help encourage & inspire other Caregivers!
