The vibe is good but the host has trouble letting other people speak.
Best podcast for Philly sports

Oct 25

Crazphilfan

This is by far the best podcast for Philly sports talk. I truly enjoy the mix of guests, banter, laughs and talk about the city and surrounding areas in general. Sheil, Cliff, ZB, Tony Bunz, Shawn and all the other folks that appear on the pod are truly a fun group to listen to and root for.
State Media

Oct 14

Skolbear

If this pod is just gonna run state media for the team, why bother, Sheil Spadaro? Indefensible clock management against the Jags. Galaxy brain take. I'll just ask Big Dom if the right decision was made next time.
Great podcast. Except..

Good for the Tuna

Praise.. •Great podcast. I can’t heap enough praise on Shiel. I have followed him everywhere he’s gone over the past 15 years. He is this generation’s Ray Didinger. I genuinely cannot think of higher praise than that. — Criticism.. •The hit and miss cycle of regular Eagles guests is the only niggle I’ve ever had. The regular guests he currently has on — Rich Hoffman and Zach Berman — are phenomenal. Top shelf. It’s impossible to overstate how much the show improved simply by replacing EJ & BLG with Rich and ZBerm. Truly. • Whenever Cliff Augustin starts talking in the first 45 minutes of the show. I have no problem with the guy. I’m sure he’s a great producer. He can be funny at times during mailbag with his opinions and perspective. But literally every time he starts interjecting himself into the main body of the podcast, it’s like nails on a chalkboard. If I wanted disingenuous hot-takes and painfully contrived attempts at humorous banter, I would listen to WIP. Literally every time he starts talking within the first 45 minutes or so of the episode I just fast forward until he stops talking. He brings literally no compelling information or perspective to anything regarding the Eagles. Zero. — In summary, are there minor tweaks I’d prefer? Of course. But ultimately I understand that is subjective. But the fact of the matter is every time a Philly Special podcast drops during the NFL season I can’t click fast enough. Easily 5 stars
