    What is your relationship with vulnerability? Whenever we speak to educators, we often say, “Ego has no space in this place.” When we lead with ego, vulnerability has no space to exist. But how do we grow? How do we intentionally grow if a prerequisite for growth is honesty…which requires vulnerability? Which then leads me to wonder…How do we effectively lead when constant growth is a requirement? Teachers, you don’t have to be perfect, but you SHOULD constantly be seeking growth…which might require you to ask questions…which first requires you to admit that you don’t have the answer. Your ego CAN’T exist in this space. You have actual lives DEPENDING on your growth. Stop showing up like you have it all figured out. Accept the coaching, ask the questions. Yes, you are a teacher to your students, but in this world you should also be a life long student.
