The Midlife Upgrade
The Midlife Upgrade is for women over 40 who are ready to stop going through the motions and start intentionally building the next version of their lives. Because somewhere in midlife, the questions start changing. How do I want to feel in my body? Who am I now that my kids need me differently? What do I want my relationships to look like? Am I happy with the way I'm spending my time—and my money? What do I want the next 10, 20 or 30 years of my life to look like? And maybe the biggest question: What needs an upgrade? I'm Michelle Bazinet, Midlife Health and Transformation Coach, and my own midlife upgrade started with my health. After gaining weight in my 40s and realizing the old diet-and-exercise strategies I'd relied on for decades weren't working anymore, I started rebuilding the way I took care of myself. That journey eventually became about upgrading what I call my Health Operating System— by taking a practical approach to strength training, muscle, nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, mindset and sustainable habits. But here's what I've learned: When you start changing the way you take care of yourself, you often start looking differently at the rest of your life too. Your relationships. Your finances. Your career. Parenting adult or growing children. Your confidence. Your boundaries. Your time. Your home. Your identity. Your future. That's what The Midlife Upgrade is about. We'll still have real conversations about perimenopause, menopause, weight loss after 40, strength training, building muscle, protein, metabolism, nutrition and creating a healthier lifestyle. But we'll also go beyond health. I'll share what I'm learning, what I'm questioning and what I'm upgrading in my own life—and bring in conversations and experts to help us think differently about the areas of life that matter as we get older. This isn't about blowing up your life and starting over. Actually, it's the opposite. It's about taking an honest look at what's working, what's not, what you want to keep and what you're ready to change. Because an upgrade doesn't mean starting over. It means building on what you've already learned. You don't need to have midlife figured out. Neither do I. But we can keep learning. Keep getting stronger. Keep making intentional choices. Keep collecting evidence. And keep becoming the women we want to be for the decades ahead. We're not done becoming. Welcome to The Midlife Upgrade.
