Psych Legal Pop Podcast

I really like this podcast, however, it is obvious the psychologist is usually way more prepared than the attorney. I enjoy listening to them and agree with their takes. The attorney needs to step it up and get better prepared while also maybe acting more interested. The "I'd rather be getting a root canal" vibe is off- putting.

I love hearing these sister talk pop culture. I wish they shared more from their expert perspectives. Feels like more private citizen opinions than expert analysis. Put up the disclaimer (this is not legal advice or therapy, contact your own professional). I finally got turned off by their ep. on clavicular. He is a harmful influencer who is responsible for the harm he brings but they let him off the hook because he was young. He’s an adult and should take accountability.

I really like the idea of this podcast and have enjoyed listening so far. The episode that brought me here was the one about the new Angela Yates documentary. Really appreciated the perspectives both hosts brought. Personally, I’d listen more if this podcast was a more organized. In its current form, episodes sort of meander based on whatever comes up in the conversation. I know podcasting takes a lot of time, but I most enjoy the format where one host takes on the research and discusses the topic with the other host (something like Maintenance Phase). Still informal but a bit more structured. I’d also like fewer episodes on the same show.

I listened to a few eps and they just get so much wrong. They’re always asking each other, did this happen? Did I get this right? Or just confidently describing the facts incorrectly. Watch things twice and take notes like every other pod
