Episode 12. Scream 1-3

It’s finally here! We’ve been so excited to talk about one of our favorite film franchises of all time, Scream! With Scream VI coming out this weekend, we thought it’d be best to make a two-parter. This episode contains our commentary, fun facts, and opinions of Scream 1-3. There are 100% spoilers throughout so if you don’t want the Ghostfaces of these films revealed, definitely go give the series a watch! Episode 10. 2022: A Year in Review

Kelsey, Talia, and Sophie are back for the new year! After a quite long hiatus, we are here to discuss a 2022 year in review. This past year was stacked with releases for the horror genre, so in this episode we detail all our favorite movies of the year and some of the duds as well (even though those were harder to come by). We also decided to share some of our most anticipated releases for the upcoming year. Kelsey hypes up the underdog of the year Fall, Sophie talks about the only “fight” she and Kelsey have ever had, and Talia defends Bodies, Bodies, Bodies as one of her favs of the year. Episode 9. Black Christmas

Kelsey, Talia, and Sophie wish you the happiest of holidays with this special seasonal episode! This week we discuss the iconic Christmas horror masterpiece that is Black Christmas (1974), and its two tragic remakes from 2006 and 2019. Will they ever put this story to rest? Perhaps not, but we cover our thoughts and feelings on the films with a twist… we’re drunk! This week we decided to shake things up and get quite tipsy before our conversation. The three films evoke plenty of strong opinions from each of us–intoxicated or not, so we hope you enjoy and stay warm this winter! There are spoilers in this episode for all three movies! Episode 8. Santa's Slay/Krampus

“Yes, Virginia. There IS a Santa Claus!” In this festive episode, we discuss two iconic Christmas horror movies: Santa’s Slay (2005) and Krampus (2015). This episode contains spoilers of the two movies as well as insight to our thoughts on the holiday horror films. There is an entire genre of horror movies that are about Santa and Christmas traditions so what better way to kick off the holiday season than to cover these films! This episode also includes multiple unrelated tangents including a baby crying contest, Willy Wonka, and Evan Peters. Sophie exposes herself as a Timothée Chalamet hater, Talia explains her grievances of Santa destroying a small business, and Kelsey is struggling to keep herself from yawning because she's so tired (it’s literally 11am). Episode 7. ThanksKilling/Black Friday

In this episode of VFMW, we discuss Thanksgiving horror movies! The movies we discussed in this episode were Black Friday (2021) and ThanksKilling (2007). Be warned, these movies we discussed were not great. One of these movies could offend everyone at Thanksgiving and the other could put everyone to sleep after they have their meals. Talia discusses her hate for Thanksgiving food. Kelsey and Sophie speculate they may be related. Episode 6. Chaotic Movie Lists

In this episode of VFMW, we compile random lists of horror movies that are connected in some way, either personal or something about the films. When brainstorming the idea of this episode we all took pretty different directions with our lists. Guess along with us as we try to guess these chaotic lists of movies. In this episode, Sophie talks about The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs, Talia compares the fans of Midsommar vs. Hereditary, and Kelsey is done with movie theaters and wants to end her Regal membership. Episode 5. Terrifier/ Terrifier 2

In this episode of VFMW, we discuss the movies Terrifier 1 and 2. In this episode we all can't stop sniffling because we're getting over a cold /3. In addition, Kelsey can’t stay still, Talia talks about the Clown Panic from 2016, and Sophie can’t remember any of the characters names. Terrifier 2 has been gaining serious traction and we were hearing that people were passing out in the theater and leaving from how scary and brutal it was. We decided we needed to check it out for ourselves! We dive into Art the Clown as a villain as well as talking a little bit about the psychology of gore and why it intrigues us so much. Episode 4. Halloween Ends?

In this episode of VFMW, we discuss Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills as well as discussing the final release of the trilogy Halloween Ends. We warn for spoilers when we get to Halloween Ends if you haven’t had a chance to see it yet! Kelsey can’t stop talking about her annoyance for the character of Alyson, Sophie applauds the characters of Big John and Little John, and Talia discusses her disappointment for Halloween Ends. We explore our wild theories, our favorite death scenes, and some of our favorite characters throughout the franchise. Episode 3. Child's Play Franchise

Episode 3 of VFMW explores all 8 movies in the Child’s Play franchise! Bear with us as we try to recollect the happenings of each movie. Talia can’t help but refer to TCM during each film, Sophie will talk until someone stops her, and Kelsey adds a southern twang to her Chucky impression. Episode 1. Views From Michael's Window Intro

On this first episode of Views from Michael’s Window, Sophie explains how she is “above” jump scares. Talia argues how Insidious is a “compelling” story. And Kelsey anxiously tries to keep us on track. We had a blast recording this episode!
