Very interesting but I wish he’d do less scary and more spiritual. More stuff like Wendy’s whole thing would be cool. Just my personal opinion.

I recently discovered this show and binged on a bunch of episodes over the weekend. I’m sure I’ll keep coming back, because I find the whole concept fascinating and I like how it’s produced, the format of it, because the guests usually just tell their stories with minimal interruption, if any, by the host. The stories for the most part feel genuine, because they are simply too bizarre and too detailed to be made up. I did encounter one episode, not to be mentioned, in which I strongly suspected the guest was just enamored of the idea of being on a show and had invented something to get invited. It was full of cliches and tropes and things that simply didn’t make sense—not in the authentically weird way I mentioned earlier, but in a hokey way. So in general I would say keep on keeping on, but please do screen people.

Tech worker goes to occupied Palestine and complains about getting her phone stolen and feeling creeped out in a hotel. Hm maybe because it’s built on stolen land…

The first person accounts bring the listener into the experience in a way that becomes so much more believable than if you heard the story second or third hand. I look forward to each episode !
