    Pipe Dreams and Picket Fences

    Season two of Denver Street Stories starts with a special interview with Terese of House Keys Action Network. In this interview Terese tells us about a survey given out to over 1000 unhoused folks in the Denver area about their thoughts on the housing crisis and ways in which we can best support our unhoused neighbors. After coming in third for Denver's 2023 mayoral race Lisa was not deterred in her mission to make Denver a safe space for all. She goes over her critiques with mayor Mike Johnston's homeless polices and what she would like to see being done to help better support our unhoused neighbors. Rose shares some of their hobbies and creative outlets like crochet and cooking while discussing how peoples preconceived feelings towards homeless folks affect them. They've found a sense of community and support being un-housed but there are still a lot difficulties that deserve to be understood.
