    EP29: I'm Coming Out - 我不仅向我妈出柜了，同时还坦白已婚。结果最后似乎还挺成功？

    其实出柜这件事在我脑子里存在了很多年，但是出于种种原因，我一直没有找到合适的时间和方法去和我妈出柜。 直到这一次，因为工作的事情，塞翁失马，焉知非福，新旧工作衔接之际多出来了大段空白的时间。所以我想趁着这个时候把我妈带到德国来好好带她玩一玩，看一看。当然，其中完全没有办法避免的一环就是要向我妈出柜。因为这个完全隐藏不了，我也没有想过要去隐藏。 有点残忍的是，我在我妈落地德国的第一晚就给了她双重暴击：我不仅仅是同志，而且还对她隐婚多年。 在时差，旅途的疲惫，听到消息之后的愤怒，失望，矛盾，迷惘和担忧，各种情绪同时涌上她的心头，也从此开始了至少两周不间断的情绪反复。我甚至已经做好了临时改签送她回去的准备（她也一直嚷嚷着要回去），结果就在这时候，事情出现了转机。 我记得我妈在我向她出柜的那时候，她说的最多的就是“我不接受！”，但是这件事情其实无关与她是否“接受”，因为不管她接不接受，她都不能改变这个已成的既定的事实。现在回头来看，其实在她刚刚落地德国就向她出柜是一个相对正确且保险的选择，因为“长痛不如短痛”，后面还有时间和机会来做damage control. 总体来说，在亲眼见到我和我Partner的生活状态之后，我妈可能也觉得没有太多需要担心的事情了，即使她内心可能还是有个疙瘩，but what can I do?     EP28: 德国职场踩坑之第二集 - 离开就是最好的礼物

    E27: 你对我的期待值是不是有点过高了？让我喘口气吧。

    EP26: 两个纯文科生(莫名其妙)转行到IT的经历 & positive reinforcement

    By the time I've finished editing and publishing this episode, Carolyn has been on her 4-month world cruise trip for almost 3 months already. She was my English teacher in an after-school program for half a year, when I was in high school back in the day. Almost 2 decades have passed, and I'm still amazed by the fact that we're still in touch and have met multiple times in both China and Germany (hope we get to meet in Australia soon in the near future!) I thought I had known a lot, or at least enough, about her, until she proved me wrong this time. I discovered so many things I didn't know about her!     We've known Christian and Mei for quite a few years so far, and in summer 2024, they finally had their wedding in China after a few postponements. This is our first episode in German, and Christian shares with us his experience of being a foreigner in China, why he decided to learn Chinese and go to China among all choices available in the first place, and what he thinks of some stereotypes about China, Chinese people, and Chinese food in general.
