The situation with Jerzee Joe

Jerzee Joe

A fast-paced half-hour show that brings news stories you won’t hear on TV or perspectives on stories you may have heard on your TV but the media decided not to broadcast. You might hear a story about members of one political party voting against a piece of legislation with an altruistic name like “The save the baby seals act,” but they will never tell you why. When you hear the real reason, you might want to thank them for voting the way they did. We cover 4-5 topics ranging from politics to the environment; to energy to developments in the world of science, plus the quote of the day.

In this week's podcast, our quote of the week is another from Congressman Wesley Hunt of Texas, who says being a black man in this country has not prevented him from succeeding in life. In the stupidest thing I’ve heard all week, we’ll tell you what City decided to simply crush 200 illegal mopeds that they had seized instead of simply selling them for cash. In our runner-up to the stupidest thing I’ve heard all week, we’ll tell you how California decided to handle the issue of making sure that people who needed hearing aids were able to get them. We’ll tell you how some people who receive Food Stamp benefits are turning their SNAP benefits into cash instead of using them to buy food. We’ll tell you which state has banned Kars4Kids from advertising in that state and why you might want to think twice before donating to that organization. Remember the Movie “Catch Me If You Can” with Leonardo DiCaprio, which was supposedly based on the life of the imposter Frank Abagnale? We’ll tell you why that whole story was probably not true. Our taxpayer relief shot segment this week is from Boulder, Colorado, where a teenage home invader picked the wrong house to break into.

In this week's podcast, our quote of the week is from Congressman Wesley Hunt on the apparent miracle that allowed him, as a black man living in Texas, to obtain multiple forms of picture ID and proof of citizenship. In the stupidest thing I’ve heard all week, we’ll tell you about a South Carolina inmate on death row whose execution has been indefinitely postponed because he now claims that he is immortal. In our runner-up to the stupidest thing I’ve heard all week, we have two contenders: The first is a poll showing what percentage of Americans believe that the Sun orbits the Earth rather than the Earth orbiting the Sun. The second is a poll telling us what percentage of Americans believe the shooting at the White House correspondent’s dinner was a staged event. We’ll tell you why if you bought an iPhone 15 or 16 in the last few years, Apple will send you a check if you ask. We’ll tell you about a Jewish-backed firearm training organization with 50 chapters nationwide that calls itself “Lox & Loaded”. Since the conflict with Iran began on February 28th, we’ll tell you about where 55 Americans have been killed and 200 others wounded, and why Iran is not responsible for any of those deaths or injuries. In another terrible example of what can happen when our immigration laws are not enforced, we’ll tell you where an illegal immigrant with prior convictions has now been charged with raping a 10-year-old girl in her school, years after his first arrest in 2021. In an equally shocking story, we’ll tell you where an elected district attorney established a policy that allowed his prosecutors to offer special plea deals to illegal immigrants charged with serious crimes in his county. We tell you about a push by Democrats to raise the US Minimum wage to $25.00 per hour and the economic impact that could have. We tell you about a fight brewing between NY City Mayor Mamdani and a Billionaire who employs thousands of people in NY and owns a multi-million-dollar condominium in that City. Our taxpayer relief shot segment this week is from Texas, where a man shoots & kills a man trying to carjack his car that already has his entire family sitting inside it.

In this week's podcast, our quote of the week is from Senator John Kennedy describing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. In our stupidest thing I’ve heard all week, there are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of liberals posting to social media claiming that the shooting at the White House correspondents’ dinner this past Saturday night was staged by the White House. We’ll tell you why they want to believe that. We’ll tell you how many criminals New York City has released back onto the streets of that city because of its policy not to honor ICE detainer requests. We’ll tell you about a brew pub in Minnesota that has been offering a free beer celebration to all customers if Trump is assassinated or dies. We’ll tell you about a piece of outrageous legislation making its way through the California legislature that would make videotaping evidence of taxpayer fraud and posting that evidence online a crime. We’ll give you an update on a national movement called the popular vote compact, and which state became the most recent to sign on to that agreement. Our taxpayer relief shot segment this week is from Austin, Texas, where 12 men attacked two gun store employees outside of a local club, and only 11 of them survived that encounter.

In this week's Podcast, our quote of the week is from Congressman Hakeem Jeffries on why all of DHS must be funded at once, not just individual pieces.
