    The New York Times Just Busted One of its Own!

    They want your vote. And if they can’t earn it, apparently, they’ll try to confuse you into giving it away. Today on Stinchfield, the Alaska Senate scandal: The New York Times reports Mary Peltola’s campaign helped recruit a second Dan Sullivan to drain votes from Republican Senator Dan Sullivan. Her former campaign manager said Peltola was “definitely aware.” My take: If these allegations hold up, this is a calculated election rigging scheme, and anyone who broke the law should face criminal charges. Using a matching name to manipulate voters is a disgrace. Peltola’s campaign denies involvement. Her former aide later sought to retract her statements. Now Alaska’s governor has ordered an investigation. Voters deserve answers. Every operative involved deserves scrutiny. And “everybody does it” is a pathetic excuse for betraying the people you claim to represent.     60 Minutes and the Art of Lying Without Lying

    The most dangerous lies in journalism aren't always what reporters tell you. They're what they deliberately leave out. And 60 Minutes just delivered another master class in media manipulation. CBS rolled out the emotional music, the heartbroken wife, the crying children, and the familiar sob story of an illegal alien deported by President Trump. Meet Moussa Diawara, an African migrant from Mali who overstayed his visa and spent 25 years in America illegally. According to 60 Minutes, he's just a loving husband and father ripped away from his family by Trump's heartless immigration enforcement. But here's what 60 Minutes didn't tell you. According to an asylum application obtained by Fox News, Diawara previously claimed he was a homosexual facing execution in Mali because of his sexuality. Now he's presented as a married father of two. That doesn't prove his original claim was fraudulent, but it raises questions that 60 Minutes apparently didn't think Americans deserved to hear. And it gets worse. A top Department of Homeland Security official says he spent nearly an hour explaining immigration fraud and dangerous criminals to CBS. Those portions never made the broadcast. This is the lie by omission scam. Select the facts that advance your political narrative. Bury the facts that challenge it. Manipulate the audience with emotion. Then call it journalism. This isn't investigative reporting. In my view, it's propaganda disguised as a newsmagazine.     McConaughey’s Middle Ground Myth... Apathy Isn’t Patriotism

    Matthew McConaughey’s take on independent voters is completely wrong. In my view, he’s playing the sympathy card, dressing up political indecision as some badge of intellectual superiority. If doctors missed warning signs, credentials should not protect them from accountability. A player’s life matters more than a football game.
