And some that might just be a little too strange to exist even at all. Alas, Todd and Ryan have been discovering and discussing these types of movies for years and now they are thrilled to share the experience with you.     Is this the one where we lose you? We almost lost Todd. However, in our effort to bring you the MOST independent, obscure and just plain weird movies, we accidentally succeed; and we must. Liquid Sky is the sort of movie for which and for why (is that even correct?) we do this show…and probably breathe the live giving air we breathe. Never before has a movie done so much to us. Given so much to us. Maybe even took a little something from Todd. His innocence? Again, in this episode we celebrate experience, music, shrimp, fashion, dance, New York, Alien encounters, the best screen acting performance of all time and the most insane film soundtrack you have or will ever hear.     Friends of movies and friends of the end; this is the movie for you. Now, we are a bit biased toward this film having interviewed the writer/director and two of the stars…WHAT!?!?!?!?! Yes, it is true. We’ve done it again and have connected with very cool and inspiring people who made a tremendous film. First, we share with you the usual episode fraught with sexual tension and beer farts -but knowing we got to talk to the providers of the feast, as it were, made it all the sweeter. All food puns aside, we have a delicious episode ahead for you. In this episode we discuss the importance of maniacal obsession; Ryan shares his most harrowing food moment; We discuss the importance of Lita Ford on a Hero’s Journey; Todd loses his shit when pressed on the topic of Monsanto; Ryan doubles down on a previous claim that bacon is overrated; Todd shares why Halloween is a nightmare for him and his entire family; Ryan finally gets the spiritual bitch slap Todd has been promising and in response we get the show’s first on air kiss.     Friends; Countrymen; Highwaymen; Indie movie fans and cool cats in general, do we have a tried-and-true treat for you. What started out as some kind of practical joke by Todd turned out to be one of our best movies yet. Sure, on the surface a film about a teenage girl in sensual love with her widower father who then, once he starts dating, turns to extreme violence leading to a significant confrontation with a fierce topless female boxer sounds like a bad time, but holy sh*t the joke is on us! This movie is amazing and in this episode: Todd reveals his favorite non-masculine bar drink; We discuss at length the proper clothing for opening and shutting down a disgusting local bar; Ryan brings a savage takedown to locker-room culture, possibly inspired by years of bullying, Todd talks lingerie shopping do’s and do not’s; Somehow we completely dismantle all of Parrot-Head culture and we vote on our favorite topless boxers of the last half-century. This is a great and fun f**king movie people and it’s Robert Foresters last on screen performance so let’s all just take a break, stop being dicks, love seeing that Orion Pictures logo and just be better.
