House of Books

Except for those rare times when I am lucky enough to discover a long running series that I love - I am always wondering what to read next. It was great to discover this podcast that offers tantalizing reviews as well as some additional information that may help me to keep from going broke in spite of my insatiable reading! I look forward to more listening and more intriguing leads.

I’ve been enjoying this podcast- just finished the 4th episode. It’s so interesting to hear from an author and how their creative process works. It was a great interview. Mary

I enjoyed the conversation between Catherine and her son, and I loved the blooper - it made me LoL 😂 But what I found even more entertaining is that Kyle called his Mother by her name instead of calling her “Mom.” Sometimes my kids do that, when I’m distracted and not responding to “Mom” and it always makes me laugh! I also like listening to Catherine’s book reviews, rather than read reviews. I also read a lot for work, so listening is so relaxing and I like her voice. I like to listen to this show when I’m driving, so it would be really nice if Catherine would actually read the books out loud! RK in LA - 10/22/2022

Catherine is so inviting—her story-telling way of introducing to the new literature is so warm yet powerful. I learned a lot by listening to just the first 2 episodes. I want to learn more about unrecognized authors and their works. Thank you, Catherine, for introducing us to the world of books!
