Hello my name is Ryan and I consider myself a Jack of all trades. Join me as I discuss things at which I am good but not necessarily an expert. I have lived quite an exciting life and experienced many different things. I have too many hobbies to try and juggle while keeping up with work and my family.     Episode 6 - Failure

    Episode 5 - Leadership

    Everyone knows of a person acting as a leader in their life, whether fictional or real.  There are good leaders in the world who help shape the lives of those under them and set them up for success later in life.  Then there are the horrible bosses who make you quit your job because they create a toxic environment.  In this episode I discuss the concept of leadership as a whole and share my experience working under different leadership styles and how it has shaped my life.  To be a good leader you must invest the time and effort to be truly effective.  Happy listening!   https://www.facebook.com/TheAsian241 Instagram: @theasian2417 p.s.     Episode 4 - Japan

    I wasn't (technically) an adult when I was forced to leave my home in Maryland and travel literally across the world to start a new chapter in Japan.  I was fresh out of high school when my dad told me our family was moving there for the final chapter of his Army career.  Needless to say I was not excited to uproot and start a new life.  But it's funny how things work out sometimes.  I gained a worldly view of life and grew as a person and all the credit is because of Japan.  Thank you for giving this podcast a listen and allowing me to share my experience with yourself.  Ja ne! https://www.facebook.com/TheAsian241 Instagram: @theasian2417

    Episode 3 - Pre-Jump

    Being in a Paratrooper in an Airborne Unit is amazing.  Jumping out of planes is the best way to spend a day while serving in the Army.  Eventually you will be asked, maybe even forced, to become a Jump Master.  The training is long and arduous but hopefully it will pay off one day.  This is for anyone studying to be a Jump Master.  The best way I found to memorize Pre-Jump was simply record it.  I hope it helps.  Airborne All The Way! https://www.facebook.com/TheAsian241 Instagram: @theasian2417

    Episode 2 - A Jack of All Trades

    Growing up I was ok at a lot of things, but never really great at one thing.  In this episode I discuss what it really means to be a jack of all trades, master of none.  I recall the many sports I played as a child to the one I picked up later in life.  If I had applied myself to one craft, such as art, music, or even Tae Kwon Do, my life would be totally different than it is now.  It wasn't until Airborne school that I learned the full saying "a jack of all trades is a master of none, but often times better than the master of one."  I realized it is ok to be good at a lot of different things and I do not have to be a master of anything.  Thank you for taking the time to give this podcast a listen.  Cheers. https://www.facebook.com/TheAsian241 Instagram: @theasian2417

    Episode 1 - Food

    Food is a subject everyone can understand.  Some people enjoy the delicacy and intimacy of a multiple course fine dining meal.  Others eat to simply survive.  In this episode I discuss my experience with food, from the mom and dad food put on our dinner table growing up to the crazy kitchen life I endured as a chef.  Food played a major role in my life and I hope you will look at things a little differently after hearing this.
