Episode 61: Choosing LIFE But at What Cost

Here’s a provocative position, the quality of life and suffering: if someone knowingly brings a child into severe poverty without the resources to meet their basic needs, the child may experience deprivation they never chose. At the same time, abortion and poverty are different ethical questions. Poverty doesn’t automatically mean a child will have a bad life, and being poor doesn’t make someone unworthy of becoming a parent. The stronger argument is about preventable suffering, access to resources, and whether people have meaningful choices in reproduction.
