The earliest followers of Jesus were called people of “The Way.” They had a deep commitment to practice Love & that small imperfect group let their light shine! How much do we really need?  Are you starting to receive a lot of Christmas catalogs?  Today we contemplate Jesus' message about the lilies in the fields, discuss planned obsolescence and light bulbs,  look at how intentional giving is a way to work out your faith muscle and I share a story about trick or treaters who ended up putting candy into a neighbor's Halloween plate instead of taking candy out.  Somehow it will all relate--I promise!
