JUICY Bengals News After 1st Day Of OTA's - Erick All & Bryan Cook SHINE

Day 1 of Cincinnati Bengals OTAs had the usual early-offseason tone: installation work, light competitive periods, and a heavy emphasis on communication rather than contact. With most veterans easing back into rhythm and younger players trying to carve out roles, two names that stood out in the early narrative were tight end Erick All and safety Bryan Cook. The Bengals are still easing him through the early stages of ramp-up work after his injury recovery, and Day 1 reflected that cautious approach. He participated in walkthrough segments and individual drills, showing smooth movement in route trees and clean hands during positional work. Coaches were clearly intentional about limiting exposure, but All’s fluidity stood out. Even in a non-contact setting, he showed natural leverage as a route runner in the short and intermediate areas—exactly where Cincinnati hopes to integrate him into the offense as a versatile tight end option. The sense around him is that OTAs will be less about production and more about stacking consistent, healthy reps. On the defensive side, Bryan Cook was one of the more active communicators in the secondary. While OTAs don’t reveal full schematic deployment, Cook spent much of the session aligning the defensive backfield, pointing out adjustments pre-snap, and rotating through multiple safety looks. His presence in coverage shells suggested the Bengals are exploring him in a flexible role, potentially rotating between deep safety and box responsibilities depending on personnel groupings. He also showed strong anticipation in team walkthroughs, jumping routes in a controlled setting and quickly resetting alignments after motion. Overall, Day 1 for the Cincinnati Bengals was less about highlights and more about foundation-setting. But for Erick All and Bryan Cook, it was an early glimpse of how each could fit: All as a developing offensive weapon still building toward full participation, and Cook as a stabilizing, vocal piece in a reshaped. #Bengals #BengalsOTAs #BengalsNews

Ja'Marr Chase Breaks Silence On Missed Practices & Bengals Offseason Moves Ft. Dexter Lawrence

At his annual youth football camp at Sycamore High School over the weekend, Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase addressed one of the biggest storylines of the team's offseason: his absence from voluntary Organized Team Activities (OTAs). With fans and media questioning why he has not participated in recent practices, Chase made it clear that his decision is part of a personal training plan rather than any dispute with the organization. Get your box today: https://www.anthonymunoz.com/anthony-munoz-78-cigars Speaking to reporters at the camp, Chase said his focus has been on preparing his body for the long NFL season ahead. "Right now, I'm just trying to get in shape," Chase explained, adding that he expects to return to the team soon. He stressed that the time away should not be viewed as a lack of commitment, but rather as a way to give his body additional recovery after another demanding season. Chase also pushed back against any suggestion that he is doing something inappropriate by skipping the voluntary sessions. "I'm not doing anything wrong," he said. "I make sure I talk back with the team and give them information." According to Chase, he has remained in communication with coaches and teammates throughout the offseason and continues to stay informed on the team's plans. His comments appear to support reports that the absence is unrelated to contract issues. Unlike his 2024 contract-related holdout, this situation is viewed as a veteran player following an individualized offseason program. Bengals coaches have not publicly expressed concern, and Chase indicated that both coaches and teammates can vouch for the work he has been doing away from team facilities. For now, Chase's message was straightforward: he is focused on conditioning, maintaining communication with the organization, and preparing to rejoin the Bengals when the time is right. #Bengals #JaMarrChase #BengalsNews
