Dr Tess Browne on Micro Resets, Hygge Comfort and Value-Led Living

Send us Fan Mail Another episode we recorded before the summer madness. It's full of SO many useful and well easy hacks for a well nice life.... We sat down with Dr Tess Browne, a clinical and coaching psychologist and founder of the Mind Atelier, who works with high-achieving women and busy mums navigating anxiety, overwhelm, burnout and trauma. Tess brings a rare mix of backgrounds to this; years in the NHS, time in academia, and a stint at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong before she moved into psychology full time. We talk about how Lizzie first met Tess and ended up co-hosting wellness retreats together, blending Pilates, yoga, psychology, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, spa time and community. Here's what well nice actually looks like for Tess day to day: -She's protective of blank space in her calendar and keeps a dedicated "me" calendar to guard it -She leans on micro moments of self-care throughout the day  -She's brought hygge into her home, using warmth and cosy environments as an actual regulation tool rather than just an aesthetic -Cold plunges are part of her routine too, less for the physical benefits and more for the mental focus and energy they give her -She talks about living in alignment with her values using ACT tools and values lists to figure out what actually matters versus what she's been told should matter Timestamps 00:00 Welcome to Well Nice 00:23 Meet Dr Tess Browne 01:27 How We Met 02:54 Life After Hong Kong 03:27 Schedule Blank Space 07:47 Micro Self Care Resets 12:11 Hygge Cozy Comfort 17:03 Cold Plunge Mindfulness 23:10 Values Led Living 31:13 Where to Find Tess Support the show

Daily Rituals Founder Jasmine on Sleep Stacking, Acne-Proof Skincare, Bone Broth & Wellness Trends

Send us Fan Mail We're back! This one's a little time capsule, recorded before the UK lost its mind in the heatwave. And we sat down with a guest we've been dying to share... What does wellness look like when you're building a brand solo, writing a newsletter 26,000+ women rely on, and still have to actually switch off at the end of the day? Jasmine, founder of Daily Rituals and editor of Wellness Dose (the newsletter that boils down evidence-based wellness recommendations into a five-minute read), joins us for a chat that's basically a chance to raid her little black book, the products, practitioners and routines she actually rates. She's fast becoming one of the leading voices in London wellness, brutally honest about what's worth your time and what isn't, uses AI sparingly (a rarity these days), and has strong opinions on bone broth, biotin, and Botox-adjacent skincare. In this episode we get into: Her actual evening wind-down: journaling a win, a stressor and a gratitude, a quick breathwork session under her red light panel, then Kindle time to properly switch offHonest and Good dehydrated bone broth, her comfort snack of choice and the thing she throws in her bag before every tripHer acne journey; soy, gluten, dairy and sugar were all quietly working against her and how she rebuilt her skin barrier with an unglamorous CeraVe, Medik8 and La Roche-Posay routine, plus the acne-safe makeup she swears byLow-tox swaps worth makingClass and studio reviews: and why she's calling it now, Lagree is about to be everywhereA first look at the London wellness event Jasmine's cooking upFollow Jasmine @dailyrituals.uk and sign up to her Wellness Dose newsletter here. Human Design, Reiki & Sound Healing for Burnout-Proof Business with Zoe from The Vibe Education

Send us Fan Mail What if the key to building a successful business wasn't working harder, but working in alignment with your unique energy? In this week's episode, we sit down with Zoe, founder of The Vibe Education and intuitive business coach, who blends practical strategy with holistic practices like human design, reiki, and sound healing to help female entrepreneurs build aligned, sustainable businesses. Zoe shares her journey from corporate life into a 14-year global career in hair and makeup, then into education and coaching, shaped by a nine-year fertility journey that led her to nervous system regulation tools. We dig into the stigma around negativity in wellness spaces, why "one-size-fits-all" doesn't work, and how human design offers a blueprint for energy, decision-making, relationships, and work style (Zoe reads our charts live — Lucy is a generator and Lizzie's a projector). Zoe also breaks down what reiki and sound healing actually do for the nervous system, why embracing life's "side quests" matters, how to redefine success beyond income, and the grounding power of community and nature.
