    50. We're Gay; We Don't Have to Apologize for Anything

    It's our 50th episode! Happy golden years to us! CW: death, gun violence, body horror, molestation, murder, child violence, monster, stalking, ocean horror. It's time to talk about the 1959 Collegiate Trampoline Champion of Cal Poly SLO, Arthur Lee Allen. That's right, it's part two of Sara's telling of the Zodiac Killer. Sara closes out this chapter with the end of the correspondence, the suspects, a review on the current media and updates surrounding the case, and what Tyler thinks is "case closed". (A correction: The documentary mentioned, This is the Zodiac Speaking, mentions that the family knew Arthur Lee Allen from being one of the kids' teachers, not from the mother knowing him from a facility before then.) Then we have a little intermission with a game Tyler devised just for our 50th (episode) anniversary, The Cryptid Dating Game! Sara finally quits Hinge and just opts for her local cryptid. But, as you know, one day you are djinn, the next day you are out. Next Tyler tells us about the tale as old as time, Scylla and Charybdis. Were they the lesbian monster power couple of ancient Greece or were they just two girlies who invented protein maxing? Tune in to find out! Stay curious, and stay creepy!

    49. A Waffle Home & Women in STEM

This time around Tyler starts us off at 27:43 to tell us about gargoyles, both the Disney classic TV show and their spoopy history. There's a cheap Midas, some super hero PPE, and even a weird picture that we'll be sure to post on our socials. Then at 1:01:33, Sara brings us a biggie, the Zodiac Killer. Strap in for this one, it's a two-parter and we're sure you'll have some questions. This man is the drag of serial killers, tbh.     CW: death, suicide, murder, torture, child abuse, drug use/addiction, abandonment, animal death, congenital disorders, sex trafficking, violence against women, kidnapping, sexual abuse, pedophilia Grab your divorce shorts, it's Tyler's birthday episode! He's an unspecified age at an unspecified time in his life. What's pretty great about him is that we make him funny by only leaving the funniest stuff in the edit. You should hear the cutting room floor. Yeesh! Join us for 20 minutes of yapping in the front and in the back. If you're only about the stories, we respect you, but we don't love you. Tyler's story starts at: 57:18 and he has two stories this time around. The first is a bit of an infarction -- no wait, inflation. His next is a lot more serious and is where most of our content warnings come from. If you don't want to hear anything gory, I might skip it this time.
