Conch never wanted to be an animus. After all, she knew what happened to Albatross, and what the SkyWings did to their animus and firescale dragonets. She wasn’t an odd SeaWing. Dark purple with hints of indigo and dark blue bioluminescence scales with green eyes. Growing up was about the same as any other dragon. As the daughter to Princess Tsunami and Riptide, she wasn’t cocky and bossy like her older brother Barracuda, or naive and dreamy like her younger sister Aqua. She was the smart and sensible middle child, undertook under the pressure of her siblings. When she attended Jade Mountain Academy, she was frightened. Her mother was the Headmistress and that would make her a target for bullies. She always wore a pure skyfire armband to protect her mind against NightWings. She did that just because one day, when swimming across a dolphin tangled in a scavenger net, she freed it using animus magic. She knew Barracuda and Aqua wouldn’t understand animus magic, and would lose their or soul before the whole moon! As she said goodbye to her grandmother, Queen Coral, and Aunt Anemone and Auklet, as well as her 37 uncles, she nervously looked at the school. “Come on! You don’t want to be late, do you Princess Conch?” Fatespeaker said with a smirk. Conch took a deep breath and walked into what would be her home until graduation.
