An Introduction: Do Thyroid Hormones Play A Role In Causing Anxiety Disorders?

The very first of two episodes. This episode was created for my psychology class project where we were asked to creatively discuss the role of hormones on a cognitive behaviour. Since I might have an anxiety disorder and have been suffering from intense symptoms for the past 4 years, it only seemed to make sense for me to make my project based on anxiety! (shout out to miss yasmine!!) Here I give you a brief of what it feels like living with a potential anxiety disorder (I have not been clinically assessed yet but I do go to a psychologist to determine my mental state) and give you an insight on a research that suggests anxiety disorders may be caused by an individual's hormones. I miiiiiiiigggggghhhhhhhhhtttttttt make another episode where I go deeper into what it exactly feels like to live with anxiety as there are so so SO many people in the world who live with such a disorder but there are still so so SO many people who just don't understand what people like us go through.
