    What if you rebuilt accounting for AI?

    Parker Gilbert, co-founder and CEO of Numeric, kept watching finance teams ask questions their accounting systems couldn’t answer. How did revenue change by customer? By product? By sales rep? The journal entry model throws that context away, and AI can’t automate what it can’t see. So Numeric went back to the foundation. Instead of starting from debits and credits, it starts from what the business actually did (a contract signed, a product added, a credit issued) and lets the system do the math.
