THE TEXAS DERBY WAS CHAOS! | FC Dallas vs. Houston, MLS Playoff Race & USMNT

After more than two years away, From the Stands is BACK! We're kicking things off with an unforgettable Texas Derby as FC Dallas and Houston Dynamo battle to a dramatic 2–2 draw. From controversial penalties and VAR decisions to a late red card and Petar Musa's historic 20th goal of the season, there's plenty to unpack. Dallas reclaims El Capitán, while Houston is left wondering how it let three points slip away. We also take a look at how both Texas clubs have performed this season, their playoff expectations, and whether either team has what it takes to make a serious run at MLS Cup. Beyond Texas, we're diving into the Supporters' Shield race, Nashville SC's dominant season, the Western Conference playoff picture, and some of the biggest storylines around Major League Soccer. Finally, we turn our attention to the USMNT, discussing life after the 2026 World Cup, recent performances, upcoming Nations League matches, and what lies ahead for American soccer. It's good to be back. Welcome to From the Stands!
