    why I don't think love island usa will last long (part one)

    Again I have not been watching season eight like that so bear with me here LOL. I don’t know if I made any good takes but agree-to-disagree. I may be taking things out of context too so I’m gonna watch part two of movie night carefully. This is just my take of part one. I’ve interviewed reality TV personalities in the past about the topic of mental health so I do like connecting both topics together.  I wanted to put the definition of bird since I didn’t mention it. I’ve noticed people are asking what the word means, so we have all different algorithms or not educated on what certain terms mean, but still some terms aren’t being used in the right context. My definition of a bird is where a woman doesn’t have a lot of self-respect within herself and will defend a man or her man wrongdoings. The definition varies like it really depends on who you are asking. With Melanie, she’s been called to have birdbrain tendencies by people online, but we have to remember we are seeing a man manipulate her severely. I think it’s just the matter of if Melanie will choose herself or choose Sincere. But if they don’t bring in another male bombshell unfortunately she is stuck with him unless they are both get sent home.) The viewers are tired of it and it seems like Melanie is starting to become tired of it as well. It does feel like parallels to how Jeremiah and Huda's connection affected the islander's well-being and environment. Everybody is walking around eggshells and probably doesn't want to get ridiculed by the fanbase. But if no one is speaking up, it does come off as enabling sometimes, but I could be using that word wrong. (That's probably why some people wanted Beatriz back. It seemed like she was the mediator.) Also wanted to add that there might be some dismissing of each other feelings and downplaying of the mens actions between the girls. (You can only be a cheerleader for so long and Kayda NEEDS TO GET ON ZACHS ASS.) One last thing with Titi. Yes, the edits are CRAZY but is her defending KC gonna be worth it in the end? Although everyone doesn’t see what we’re seeing I am curious to know how much is it gonna take for Melanie to see sincere’s behavior or Anyia and KC to stop communicating with each other. If outside influence within the villa is affecting some of the islanders connections. (Ex. Anyia choosing KC over Carl that Casa recoupling. I won’t lie I was very disappointed when that happened but it’s sad to see her in that state of mind and to feel extremely embarrassed but everyone ate that night when it got heated no shade I was entertained.) Just want to clarify again some of the men do need to be held accountable not only inside but outside of the villa as well. I don’t want to take this show tooo seriously because at the end of the day it is reality TV and it is for our entertainment but I’ve been intrigued by some of takes I’ve seen online and is Love Island worth watching seeing actual people mental well-being decline or are fans taking things into their own hands too far? (Moral policing, parasocial, etc. there’s nothing wrong with being sympathetic towards the islanders and them gaining a fanbase but don’t go after the islanders friends or family members — they’re not on the show. And if someone isn’t a fan of your favorite islander thats okay too not everyone is gonna like the same thing you do. Also allow people to change their opinions as well.)  I understand with the new viewership, some people are saying that they missed when Love Island was a bit unknown, but I’m curious to know if the show will continue reaching new heights or it’s demise. If you don’t like Love Island, nobody is forcing you to watch it, but I understand not watching it for mental health reasons. All I’m saying is if season nine gets worse, Love Island USA should take a pause, and figure some shit out. Maybe creating a better environment or choosing decent people.

A new series on TATIANATHYME where I bring women to come together to share their perspectives and speak on issues of women’s rights, norms, traditions, etc., how to fight against some and what we can do as women to spread awareness, understanding, and to build a community. In this episode, me and Jazzy uncover the world of social media and how relationships have been portrayed online recently. Is it better to be out or private? How words such as bird, pick me, male centered, and girls girl have been taken out of context. If a man represents a woman’s identity. And if women want to stay independent or to be taken care of.
