    Episode 14: MuseNews: Crystal Clear

    Oh boy oh boy oh boy we just had so much discuss that we gathered for a very special bonus musenews and pop-culture and vacation roundup episode.  At 0:48 - We kick things of with the series Lupin At 12:55 - Get a little romantic with the film Red, White, and Royal Blue based on the novel with the same title by Casey McQuiston. At 19:15 there's a little snippet of the AMC series Interview with a Vampire. At 26:30 we have some magical environmental controls in the series Shadow and Bone and the Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo. 29:58 is a rapid-fire mismatch of a quote from the podcast Your Wrong About, The Haunted Mansion (2023), the series Moonnight, the series What We Do in the Shadows, and back on over to Your Wrong About for a discussion of chastity belts. Then at 37:00 it's time for an update of the Orlando Museum of Art/Basquiat saga with a discussion of the article published in ArtNews "the Orlando Museum of Art Has Sued Its Former Director for Staging a Show of Fake Basquiats That "Shattered" Its Reputation" by Sarah Cascone, August 17, 2023 At 44:35 Madeline takes us on a delightful trip to The Old Library at Trinity College in Dublin and we get her hot take on the Book of Kells. It was a trip fit for a museum registrar as the library was preparing for an upcoming restoration project. At 51:37 we finish with a discussion of the taxidermy collection at the Delbridge Museum of Natural History in Sioux Falls, S.D.
