    A Simple Rhyme Can Lead to a Robust Faith - Ruth Malhotra - Ep. 010

    Ruth Malhotra is passionate about helping Christians communicate truth with clarity and grace, and supporting the global church to effectively cultivate and steward influence in the public square. She is a former columnist for the Christian Post, former research assistant at the Middle East Forum, and was a Public Relations Manager at RZIM ministries prior to the passing of Ravi Zacharias. Ruth's unlikely journey at RZIM took her from spokesperson to whistleblower to advocate. She is committed to learning from abuse survivors even as she learns to advocate for them. Ruth shares how she built a personal relationship with Jesus through simple songs and memorization habits in church. That simple faith has carried her well as she continues to serve the Lord sharing the peace and courage Christ gives her in her daily walk with Him.

    Finding Grace in Childlike Faith - Francesca Battistelli - Ep. 009

    Francesca Battistelli grew up in a musical family with her parents involved in musical theater.While she always wanted to be a dancer, something she was on the path to do professionally in her teens, she found a new path in music and parenting.  Francesa talks with Ella about the power of grace in hard moments, where God makes us more like Him. She also speaks to the beauty of children and how they inspire her every day as a mom and professional music artist.

    Patience in Childlike Faith - Renee Lawless - Ep. 008

    Renee Lawless is a seasoned theater actress, known for portraying the lead character in Tyler Perry's "The Haves and the Have Nots" on the OWN network.​ Renée says she went from the birthing table to the church pew. It was there her love for music developed. She released her first Gospel CD, 'Renee  Lawless A Live Sampler' in 2002. She is a motivational speaker, offering keys to having confidence in your Presentational and Public Speaking Skills from the Conference room to the Convention Hall. She is active with the Family Legacy Organization. Helping children in Zambia receive clothing, education, and medical attention while learning about Christ's love.  It has become her passion. She travels there each summer to assist with their CAMP LIFE program.  There she can meet, teach, mentor and minister to over 700 children in a given week. A "Life Changing" experience. Renee also lends her time and contributions to other youth organizations, New Paradiem Theater, and Kids in the Spotlight.

    For over 15 years, Justin Murff has worked as a development and media executive. He has executive-produced hundreds of live national TV/radio simulcast productions. He now serves as the director for the national council on religious freedom. Justin is passionate to protect the rights of people around the world to worship Jesus, and today on the podcast he shares how he does that, and what he means by following Jesus. He talks about being tied to Christ, being united with Him to withstand tough times.

    Dealing with Doubt with Childlike Faith - Garrett Hinton - Ep. 006

    Garrett Hinton works at the Museum of the Bible and is really smart. He used big words in this episode of Childlike Faith that stretched Ella's neck. But in the big words we find that Garrett has dealt with doubt. He highlights that what pulled him through times of doubt was what he calls childlike faith. Garrett notes that childlike faith isn't childish, but as we mature and grow we realize that the faith God offers us as adults is the same faith he gives kids.

    Is Childlike Faith Desireable? - Kirk Cameron - Ep. 005

    Ella asks Kirk Cameron how he builds childlike faith, and Kirk explains the incredible importance and value of retaining childlike faith as an adult. He's stumped on how he continues to build that, but after considering recent happenings in his personal life he explains how God has been real to him recently. In that one story he explains not only the value of childlike faith, but how God is continuing to build the faith of a child in him and how that is guiding him through many challenges as an adult.

She discusses the importance of building muscles where joy is celebrated, and for Dr. Kathy those muscles involve reminding ourselves of who God is by spending time in Scripture.
