    Ep 20: Tall City Brewing - Iron Orchard Movie Stars, 2.5 beer ideas, and views of the city that last for miles

    We caught up with Jeff and Jarrod at Tall City Brewery in Midland. A brewery inspired by Jester King Brewery and many other breweries visited through the country and of course the moniker of the West Texas city of Midland. Right in the middle of Midland just minutes from I-20 and what a fantastic venue and fantastic beers. Come check it out and try the five hour drive, named for being in the middle of everywhere “#MOE” - five hours to Dallas, five hours to Amarillo, five hours to San Antonio or Austin, five hours to Mexico.     We met with Juan and Sarah at Misfit Outpost. We spent a great SUNDAY EVENING discussing the new Misfit OutPost in Cypress, TX. Great place, great people great time.     We met with Dave and John to discuss their quaint English style brewery just of Hwy 290 in Dripping Springs (aka Drinking Springs, aka Pound Town). We discuss things from hosting weddings, old English ales (other beer styles too), the Barber Shop that's a throwback ice house worth visiting, and local food options that mix well with the brewery.     Ep 17: Elder Son Brewing Company - Lacrosse, Home Brewing, X-Box, making friends with the Big Brother

    I talked to Robert Frye, Owner and Head Brewer of Elder Son Brewing Company. Great hangout just of North Shepherd in the Heights, Houston. A mix of beers to choose from, outdoor patio, indoor air conditioned space with nearby food options. Everyone is welcome, bring a dog, bring a kid, bring a friend, just bring a good attitude, enjoy a great beer, pull up a chair and have a conversation with the bar staff or the Eldest Son of the Brewery.

    Ep 16: Neutral Ground Brewing Company - Disputes on the borders but no disputes on the beer.

    We met with Stan Hudson of NGBC in Fort Worth Texas. Our first visit to DFW, brought us to this great street side brewery on Race Street, a very lively urban street, with a great interior and exterior with a nice curb side patio. Ladies did I mention clean bathrooms. This place is just down the road from the Union at River East, a great place to relax for all those city dwellers. Shout out to 97 West Architects for the remodel and Stag Design for the flight boards. Come check this place out and support NGBC. www.ngbc.beer www.texastaprooms.com

    Ep 15: Galveston Bay Brewing - Cool Breezes, Hazy Mornings, Sunny Days, and Havana Moons

    We met with Skyler at Galveston Bay Brewing. What a fantastic brewery with a great atmosphere and excited to see the final outdoor venue. Great beers, one of my favorite, the rum aged stout. And you gotta try this fish and chips, wooooo....it was a challenge but I did finish it. Please forgive the kitchen noise, we are after all recording inside an operating brewery. Shout-outs to the Mashtronauts, Shuttlecocks, and Foam Rangers home brewing groups as well as Method Architecture on the buildout.     Ep 14: Frost Town Brewing - Throwback brewery to Houston's first subdivision, Frost Town. Also great frosty session-able beers.

    Great time with Hannah and John. This brewery inspired by John's father's desire to start a family owned brewery on the NE end of downtown Houston, staking claim to Houston's first brewery in the downtown core, just 3 blocks from Minute Maid Arena. Come check out this fantastic inside taproom, very sleek and modern, and outside covered garden area. Come in for Trivia Night with Connor the Trivia King and take out the reigning 4-peat champions. Check out the Texas Taproom flight while you visit - Frost Bier, Southern Style, Vonder-Town, Hop Grade, Twilight, and Black Gold.
