    Episode 3 - The Dallas Museum of Art's African Art Collection

    In this episode, we discuss our favorite pieces from the African art collection at the Dallas Museum of Art, and review some of the heady questions that we have proposed in our first three episodes around repatriation and the secret stories of stolen art.     Episode 2 - The Crow Museum of Asian Art

    In this episode, we discuss the Crow Museum of Asian Art in Dallas, Texas, its contribution to cross-cultural understanding, and its efforts to respect the original homes of its collections. We also consider some of the challenges facing Asian art and its repatriation, and we discuss the upcoming Atheneum, a branch of the museum at the University of Texas at Dallas.  Show Notes: 1.     Episode 1 - Icons Far from Home

    In this episode, we look at some pieces that have been removed and displaced far from where they were created. We’ll be digging into their histories and uncovering how these pieces ended up so far away from home and how they acquired importance beyond their literal backstories.
