Scott works in the world of custom luxury humidors and cigar cabinets, from beautiful desktop pieces to serious furniture-grade installations for collectors. We talked about the craftsmanship coming out of China today and the ability to create completely customized pieces — from materials and finishes to interior layouts and storage systems. His company offers both cigar humidors and cabinets as well as private customization. We also got into some of the truly high-end work — the kind of luxury humidor craftsmanship that can compete in the same conversation with names like Elie Bleu — and why a great humidor should be more than simply a box that holds cigars. It can be furniture, craftsmanship and part of the entire ritual of enjoying a cigar. And, of course, this is Habanos Saturday, so we didn't stay on one subject for very long.
