2026 South Carolina Football Preview + SEC Mascot Draft

We're back. Almost two years since the last episode, and we just missed talking every week. Joe's in South Carolina now, Allen's still in Florida (for a minute), and we're leaning harder into Gamecocks this season. Catch-up first: Joe finally surfed at sunrise and admitted he was wrong about the pre glow, he's about to be a dad, he dropped Allen's ring while officiating the wedding, Allen's got a new orthopedic job in Orlando, Copper's got an elbow like a 70-year-old, Fudge the miniature horse is somehow still alive, and Allen hopped a standby flight to San Fran instead of Maine and barely missed a Yosemite fire. Then the meat of it: how high we're allowed to get our hopes for South Carolina, injuries, Kendal Briles, and why we still can't fully trust this team. We close by bringing drafts back with SEC mascot costumes. Cocky goes number one. Of course. Timestamps: (0:00) I was wrong about sunrises (0:26) We're back (1:30) Surfing and the pre glow (3:15) About to be a dad (3:55) Dropping the rings (6:33) James Island life (7:43) Allen's new job (9:58) Penny, Copper, and Fudge (11:20) Standby to San Fran (18:55) How high can we get our hopes (23:35) Injuries and Josiah Thompson (33:08) Season predictions (1:00:26) SEC Mascot Draft (1:02:05) Cocky goes number one (1:10:23) 101 at Willie B
