The Apology Accepted Podcast

LaTesha Monique

This podcast is about my healing journey and along the way I will speak with individuals who will share their stories and or their healing experience. I had to understand the value of accepting apologies I will never receive so I could heal for "REAL" and this came in the form of forgiveness. Living a healthier life and enjoying this new found journey, I inspire to be my happiest self every day. This podcast allows me to bring my listeners into my world. This podcast is NOT your perfect podcast. I am NOT your perfect host. Alright, now take this moment with me.

The Apology That's Not A Burden

Hey friends, welcome back to The Apology Accepted Podcast, the space where we dive into real conversations about healing, growth, and creating the life we deserve. I am your host LaTesha Monique, and I am so grateful to have you tune in to this episode! Whether you're tuning in for the first time or you're a returning listener, I’m so glad you’re here, this space is for you, Friend. You Are Not a Burden. I want to talk about something that a lot of us carry quietly  this belief that we’re “too much,” that our feelings are inconvenient, or that our needs make us a burden to others. If you’ve ever apologized for crying… for needing help… for taking up space… this episode is for you.
Because I want you to know something deep in your spirit, you are not a burden. You are human, and your needs are valid. So today, we’re rewriting that shame script, the one that’s been telling you that you’re too emotional, too sensitive, too needy. Let’s talk about where that message comes from, how it shows up in our lives, and how we can begin to change it. For anyone who’s ever felt like “too much,” this is your reminder. #TheApologyAcceptedPodcast #NewPodcastEpisode #PodcastForWomen #PodcastCommunity #HealingPodcast #YouAreNotABurden #RewritingTheShameScript #EmotionalHealing #HealingJourney #SelfWorth #YouAreEnough #MentalHealthMatters #HealingInProgress #GraceOverGuilt #InnerPeace Music From: Jasmine Essence on YouTube

In this episode of The Apology Accepted Podcast, I’m talking about something so many of us experience but rarely discuss: burnout from poor leadership at work. If you’ve ever felt drained, undervalued, or frustrated in your workplace, this episode is for you because you deserve peace, clarity, and the tools to thrive even in challenging environments. Reflective Questions 1.  Have you ever noticed when your job started affecting your peace outside of work? What were the first signs that something wasn’t right?” 2. How do you protect your energy in a work environment that feels draining or toxic? What boundaries have helped you?” 3.  If you could give your younger self one piece of advice about handling difficult managers or workplace stress, what would it be?” Action Steps 1. Journal Your Burnout Triggers: ·       Write down the specific moments, tasks, or interactions that drain you the most at work. ·       Next to each, note if it’s within your control or outside your control. 2. Set One Boundary This Week: ·       Pick one thing you can say “no” to or one task you can delegate to protect your energy. ·       Practice asserting this boundary and notice how it affects your stress levels. 3. Identify Your Support System: ·       Make a list of people or resources that can support you professionally or emotionally (friends, mentors, colleagues, online communities). ·       Reach out to one person this week for advice, encouragement, or accountability. 4. Reflect on Wins: ·       At the end of the week, write down 3 moments where you successfully protected your energy or responded differently to poor leadership. ·       Celebrate small victories they are proof of your growth and resilience. 5. Plan Your Next Step: ·       Choose one long-term action for yourself this could be updating your resume, talking to HR, seeking mentorship, or creating a self-care routine. ·       Commit to taking one small step this week toward that goal. #TheApologyAcceptedPodcast #PodcastForWomen #HealingAndGrowth #EmpoweredWomen #WomenSupportingWomen #SelfCareForWomen #MentalHealthMatters #PersonalGrowthJourney #MindfulLiving #WorkplaceBurnout #WomenAtWork #LeadershipChallenges #ToxicWorkplace #ProtectYourEnergy #HealthyBoundaries #WorkLifeBalance #SelfCareMatters #PrioritizeYourPeace #MentalWellness #EmpowerYourself #BoundariesAreBeautiful #StressManagement #WorkplaceWellbeing #ThriveNotSurvive Music From: Jasmine Essence on YouTube
