    Camping with a 6mo & a 3yo

    Pull up a chair around the campfire while I recount the tale of how we survived (and had a blast) on our camping trip with our two kids: 6months old and 3 and half years old.  Roast some marshmallows as I shine a flashlight on our prep, how we navigated sleep and what the days looked like.  It started a little rocky (and poopy), but we worked out the bugs and after ten days returned home feeling refreshed and eager for our next trip.     And Then There Were Four: the transition from 1 to 2 kids

    I didn't know what to expect as we transitioned from parenting 1 to parenting 2 kids, with so many stories and so many varying experiences out there.  Whatever I though it might be like, the reality was MUCH different.  I don't think there's anything that could have fully prepared me for it, but there are some things I would do differently next time to help prepare my toddler for the changes that come with a new baby.  There were amazing days and many, many extremely difficult days.     It Takes A Village: Compilation of Newborn Survival Tips

    There is SO much I wish I knew before having my first baby, and I'm so grateful that I had a few people gift me a list of their newborn survival tips. It was so helpful!     Claire's Birth Story

    After having a textbook birth with my first, I was expecting things to go pretty smoothly the second time around. Boy was I wrong! But, if it hadn't been for the all the unexpected events (like delivering in the ER), I wouldn't have been able to enjoy some pretty awesome silver linings.     Exercise and Pregnancy

    Every body and every pregnancy is so different, and there's a lot of outdated information out there when it comes to exercise. Let's help to change that! Whether you are pregnant, trying to conceive, planning to conceive or postpartum, there's something in this episode for you. Or maybe you're a fitness professional wanting to know a bit more about exercise during pregnancy. Or someone in your life is pregnant and you're wanting to learn more to support and connect with them on their journey. In this episode I'll cover the updated guidelines for physical activity during pregnancy from Health Canada, break down some things to be mindful of by trimester, and talk about my own experiences (the good, the bad, the ugly).
