    Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng

Join us in this captivating episode of the podcast as we engage in an enlightening conversation with the esteemed Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng. Delve into the fascinating journey of her life, explore her musical preferences that provide the soundtrack to her experiences, and gain insights into the remarkable events that have transpired at the University of Cape Town (UCT) since her departure. Amidst our discussions, we also treat ourselves to a delightful smoothie, creating a casual and comfortable atmosphere for profound exchanges. Professor Phakeng opens up about a plethora of topics, providing listeners with a diverse array of engaging conversations. However, it's essential to note that in the upcoming segment, Professor Phakeng presents certain claims pertaining to the Ombud. To ensure a fair and balanced discussion, we have extended an invitation to the Ombud for a right of reply. We are committed to presenting multiple perspectives, and if a response is received, we will broadcast it on the next week's Friday show at 2:00 PM. Additionally, we will dedicate a follow-up podcast episode to delve further into the matter.
