    Welcome to episode #001 of The Aspiring Entrepreneur Podcast. Grab a warm drink, get cozy, and have a listen! I discovered entrepreneurship a long time ago. I started off by starting my own wedding video business, and growing that to 6-figures, and then got a full-time job at an advertising agency, and even though I loved the video work I was doing there, I always longed for something more. I missed running my own business, working with clients, making better money, making my own hours, spending more time with my family, etc. The 9-5 grind IS NOT for me! And never will be! I have found so many other ways to make money working from home, being my own boss, calling the shots… And having more time with family, more time to myself and I love when there’s a big snowstorm and I’m comfy in my office in my slippers with my hot chocolate 🤣 I feel bad for anyone having to brave the freeze to go to work! This episode is the introduction to who I am, what you can expect from this podcast, and some of my fundamental beliefs and passions. I’ll go into some depth about why I started my business, and why I pivoted out of my 18-year video production & marketing career to help people who are looking for something better, or who have hit rough times and they’re trying to figure out what the next step is.
