    Navigating The Valleys

The valley is not evidence that the Guide has lost His way. In Week 2 of The Expedition, Pastor Tony Stephens walks through Psalm 23:4 and three truths we need when life becomes difficult: • The Valley Does Not Mean You Left the Path • The Shepherd's Presence Is Greater Than the Valley's Threat • The Shepherd Loves You Enough to Keep You Close God never promises His people a life without suffering. He promises something better: His presence. And sometimes the question we need to ask isn't simply, “God, how do I get out of this?” but, “God, who are You calling me to become while I'm walking through it?” This Week's Challenge — Map Your Valley Write down the greatest struggle you're facing right now. Beneath it, write: GOD IS WITH ME. Look for evidence of God's presence, guidance, protection, and correction in this season—and share what you're carrying with one trustworthy believer. You weren't created to walk through the valley alone. Most importantly, Psalm 23 begins with the words, “The LORD is my shepherd.” Jesus identifies Himself as the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep. Through His death and resurrection, everyone who repents and believes in Him can be forgiven, reconciled to God, and receive eternal life. No matter how dark the valley becomes, the Shepherd is still here. #TheExpedition #NavigatingTheValleys #Psalm23 #GoodShepherd #TrustGod #ChristianLiving #FaithInHardTimes #CalvaryBaptistChurch #PastorTonyStephens
