    Hi everyone! Welcome to today's episode of Carry On Luggage! I'm your host, and today, we will be talking all about Taylor Swift. Surprise! I am a (very proud) Swiftie! I've even dressed up as her for a party where we were all meant to wear something that started with our initials despite my name being Rafaela (in my defense, I was dressed as Red (Taylor's Version))! Anyway, enjoy this episode where I discuss how much all her music means to me. Oh, and we also talk about how pop music and pop culture can reflect economic and political theory.     Conversation in the Kitchen: Cooking and Coping

    Hi everyone! Welcome to Season 2 of Carry On Luggage! These next five episodes will be all about cooking (my absolute new favorite hobby) and our relationships with food and the kitchen! In this first episode, I tell a little bit about myself and my own relationship with food and how it has changed over the years! Here is my Banana Bread Recipe (adapted from SchecksEats with a few changes): Ingredients: 3 ripe bananas (plus one for decoration) 5 of melted butter 1 teaspoon baking soda Pinch of salt 3/4 cup of Honey 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 and 1/2 cups (200g) all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Method: Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit or 180 Celcius. In a medium bowl, mash up 3 bananas, then add the ingredients in the given order. Bake the mixture in an 8-inch by 4-inch loaf pan. Wait until cooled to slice.
