The Hero's Journey as Initiation into Mastery: 7 Year Remission Rebirthday Reflections | Ep 10

The Hero's Journey is the journey of transformation that is coming to Know Thyself. On my 7 year Remission Anniversary – what I refer to as my 'Rebirthday' – I was reflecting on the number 7 and all that it signifies, as well as the Hero's Journey of Transformation itself as an Initiation into self-actualization. It struck me that it takes 7 years for all the cells in the body to regenerate – we quite literally have a whole new body after 7 years. Amongst a slew of other profound manners in which this number is reflected in our world, 7 represents the number of primary chakras in the body, the primary notes in an octave before the next begins, and as is reflected in many post-doctorate degrees, the number of years it takes to become fully embodied in our mastery. In the words of Joseph Campbell: "We must be willing to get rid of the life we planned so as to be ready for the life that is waiting for us." The sooner we begin the journey, the more fully anchored we become in our brilliance. Spring Equinox: The Energetic New Year and the Relationship with Easter and St. Patrick's Day

The Spring Equinox marks the balance point of equal day and night – one of only two days in the year the Earth isn't tilted. Spring of course brings the energies of hope, renewal, new life, and rebirth – the coming of the light! It's a celebration of harmony, balance, and union of polarities, the masculine and the feminine. It marks the start of the astrological year as we enter Aries Season, which brings a fiery energy that – if we're honest – feels way more aligned with fresh starts and new beginnings than a random date in the dead of winter! This year we have both the New Moon in Aries and the massive transit of Pluto entering Aquarius in the same week as the Spring Equinox – the first time this has happened since 1778. So in this episode I examine how all these energetics intertwine and how we can connect with them – because it is not just about today or this week, it is about a major threshold we are entering. I also look at how the original Holy Days have been coopted and distorted by Christianity and replaced with watered down and even somewhat inverted version of the original essence: St. Patrick's Day and Easter. The Courage to Confront Evil: As Within, So Without | Ep 6

What is evil? Where does it come from? This episode delves deep into the so-called darkness and why it's important for us to face the shadows – to have the 'Courage to Confront Evil.' Inspired in part by the (audio)book by Carolyn Myss, we examine the state of the world through this lens of the battle of good vs evil, light vs dark. As Within, So Without. When the inner conflict ceases, the outer reflects the inner. And this is how we create Peace and Manifest Heaven on Earth. Awakening Part 3: How My Life Began to Blossom in 2020 | Ep 4

In Part 3 of My Awakening, 'The Blossoming,' we pick up in 2020 and journey to the present – when this was recorded on 2/22/23, the 222 Portal, coinciding with Venus rising into the Solar Plexus itself. Given the solar plexus healing and journeys of integration I was – unexpectedly and only in hindsight – guided on in 2022 (222) – this synchronicity of recording on 2/22 (after 'delays'!) in itself was by no means accidental. This is precisely what this part of my journey is about – synchronicity, divine timing, and divine guidance. My cancer diagnosis was my awakening, the pivotal moment in my life when I realized how powerful my intuition really is and truly began to honor the guidance and wisdom that was coming from within. While I was still not so consciously 'spiritual,' I can look back and recognize some of the powerful downloads I received at crucial moments and how paying attention and listening quite possibly saved my life, and also how as difficult as this journey was, it was all for a higher purpose, guiding me here. Awakening Part 1: The Seeds and Sparks of my Evolution | Ep 2

We see ourselves in others and connect through stories. In this episode I share my own journey of evolution in the hopes that by me connecting the dots of my life, it might spark some moments of recognition within you. In Part 1 I cover my life from birth to age 30, at which point I confronted a life-altering situation that also accelerated my own awakening – a cancer diagnosis. So Part 1 examines the pivotal moments and experiences – the sparks and seeds – that over time painted an increasingly coherent picture of my life.
