    In this episode of New Mom Who This, Yosra is back on the podcast and we talk about her upcoming girls trip to Vegas. First time since she became a mother that she will be away from her son for more than 24h. We unpack what that means to her, the good the bad and everything in between. She opens up about how getting ready to spend 4 days, not being on mom duty, feels strange and yet exciting. It opens up an interesting perspective: We forget how to be our own selves. What clothes do you bring? Do you even have clothes for that? Spending 4 days with friends who don't have children, how do you adapt? We talk about the apprehension of missing your home and your family too much and the guilt that comes with it. And of course we talk about the fact that despite all of that, she can't wait, and I can't wait for her, to have this time, truly for herself.     In this week's episode of New Mom Who This, I am having a beautiful conversation with Chase, about finding your flow in the new journey that is Motherhood. She tells us about her routine and how needing more peace and quite have changed how she spends her me time. We talk about community and finding purpose. And finally we mention the journey of IVF. It is such a personal subject, it is an experience that is widely different for everyone, and I am very grateful for Chase for being so open about it. She tells us how having a support system is crucial in making the process easier, whether it is therapy, friends, family, or spiritual.     On this episode of NMWT, Paola opens up about social issues that come with being a woman and a mother, as well as an immigrant and social activist. We go through her healing process that came when she decided to write a book, about herself and all that she wants to be. We go through the struggles of stereotypes and facing expectations such as "being a mother is to give all of yourself to your children". Ideas that bring guilt to women who try to keep growing as an individual even after having children.  We go back to how difficult it is to juggle all the relationships in our lives with so little time to give.
