    Winter hiking in the Adirondacks in -32 wind chill - My introduction to becoming a 46er.

    In this episode I discuss one of my favorite places to explore in all of New York, The Adirondack State Park. This park is massive and covers over 6.1 million acres, is home to over 10,000 lakes and 30,000 miles of rivers and streams. In a recent trip, a good friend of mine decided to hike 2 of the 46 high peaks in the area. We summited Cascade and Porter Mountain in the winter with -32 wind chill. I know that is not everyones cup of tea but this is an experience that I will cherish for a lifetime. If you looking for a memorable experience, please take a visit to the Adirondack Park.     In this episode I had the opportunity to sit down with Greg Livadas from High Hopes Balloon Co. High Hopes Balloon Co provides clients the opportunity to ride and explore their surroundings in a hot air balloon. Greg has been involved with ballooning since 1978 and he actually earned his balloon license before his drivers license. Greg has been all over the world because of his love of flying.     Its official... My first podcast and my adventure along the Erie Canal Trail

    This is an exciting time, MY FIRST PODCAST... After considering for a few years I decided to finally start recording. This story is about my 247 mile bicycle ride along the banks of the Erie Canal. My first real bike touring adventure. 4 days of riding, camping and enjoying the time to reflect on the past year and goals for the future.
