Between Fear, Hope & Action: Supporting Our DACA Community

My goal with the podcast episodes is always to yes, highlight the struggle pero also the light, the hope, the possibility... When the Aliento team first reached out l I thought ... I want to make sure this episode doesn't just speak on what is making this experience difficult for our community with DACA but also resources ... and I am grateful to Ileana and the Aliento team for coming onto the podcast but also the important resources they provide to our community and the work that they do!! Let us know what has helped you get through these times in the comments. ------------------------------------------ Get to Know Today's Guest: Ileana Salinas is a mental health advocate, and singer-songwriter originally from Mexico City. When Chronic Illness Tires Your Body & Awakens Your Spirit

Hola! In this episode I was joined by Esmeralda Garibay, a latina Holistic Healing Guide. Yalllll I am so grateful that each guest has brought such different and yet connected stories/conversation ✨ it is simply beautiful that although many of us are walking 'traditional paths' our experiences have also led us to tap into the more unconventional, magical parts of life. Let us know what resonates from this episode and what question you would have liked me to ask her! ------------------------------------------ Get to Know Today's Guest: I am a Holistic Healing Guide certified in facilitating healing circles, with a specialization in womb healing. As a first-generation Latina, my work is deeply rooted in ancestral wisdom, embodied spirituality, and the resilience passed down through my lineage. My own journey with chronic illness became the doorway to my spiritual awakening and healing path. When conventional medicine could not offer deeper answers, I was called inward to listen to my body, my spirit, and the unseen layers of healing beyond science alone. Through this process, I learned how to alchemize pain into wisdom and reconnect with the innate intelligence of the body. Today, I hold sacred space for those seeking healing beyond the limitations of traditional systems. I weave together ritual, energy work, ancestral remembrance, and intuitive guidance infusing everything I do with intention, reverence, and a touch of magic. My mission is to support others in remembering their own power, reconnecting with their womb wisdom, and reclaiming wholeness on their own terms.
