Podcast description goes here huh? Hmm, well, this podcast is a diary of sorts. Just someone looking for answers, seeking therapy in words. Don't get me wrong, I am also on med's. I recently discovered diary's I have been saving over the years. I find them very interesting today. I have always been the person to listen to other's talk about how they feel. I offer compassion, sometimes even solutions. I am seen as a positive person, outgoing. However, no one has ever asked me how I really felt. This is my story of struggle with mental illness. I pray that we can help each other.

    When it's good, it's really good.

    This episode is just another look into what makes us who we are. I actually saw a therapist yesterday! I know, I know, you all thought I must have already been seeing a therapist. I haven't, but I am now! It is amazing how speaking to someone outside your circle can make such a difference. Not that I have a circle, however, I do hope to one day. Thank you for being here, and I want you to know that you are not alone.

Why does it do to us what it doesn't do to other people????Why do we take things differently all the time? Why do people suck? I don't really understand my brain, but music is my escape.     I am here to open the conversation about mental illness and everyday people. The topic of mental illness seems to make people very uncomfortable.  Why? I guess because the minute someone hears these two words put together, they automatically think"crazy." We are far from it. Being depressed doesn't always stem from childhood trauma. But, sometimes it does. We can hide it well, most of us. We want answers that nobody seems to have, except to medicate. But what got us here? Please join me help me find some answers. Look at new perspectives.  I long to hear your stories. God bless.
