Episode 1: Good Tired Is Still Too Tired

Thank you for checking out the inaugural episode of Your Personal Ministry Matters. Pastors, Andrew Larsen and Timothy Miller discuss the topics of doing ministry on Super Bowl Sunday, prioritizing family needs over ministry needs, and the importance of pastoral rest. Thanks to the comments and contributions from the audience on Facebook live, preaching calendars and unhealthy leadership patterns are also delved into in this episode. The book on developing habits of rest that is discussed is An Unhurried Leader: The Lasting Fruit of Daily Influence by Alan Fadling.

I’m in a busy season of ministry at my church, and this conversation was exactly what I needed. “Good” busy is still busy!

Insightful conversation on the life of being in practical ministry. The hosts are both engaged in real time ministry and are offering a realistic perspective of healthy boundaries that are necessary in ministry. Lots of humor is a another positive offering. Worth the time.
