June 7th 2026 message from Liberty Church in Lula GA

What are you truly focused on? In Luke 12:16-21, Jesus tells the story of a man who seemed successful by every earthly standard. His business was thriving, his barns were full, and his future looked secure. Yet God called him a fool. Why? Because he had become focused on everything except what mattered most. In this message, "What Am I Focused On?", Pastor Eric challenges us to examine where our attention, priorities, and affections are really aimed. Are we more focused on God's blessings than on God Himself? Are we investing more in our earthly future than our eternal one? Have we become consumed with personal comfort while neglecting the call to follow Jesus wholeheartedly? Life is a vapor. The things that consume our thoughts today will one day pass away, but eternity remains forever. The question is not whether you're focused on something—the question is whether you're focused on the right thing. Take a moment to watch this message and allow God's Word to help you evaluate your heart. 📖 Main Text: Luke 12:16-24 #WhatAmIFocusedOn #Luke12 #FaithOverFear #EternityMatters #FollowJesus #SundayMessage #ChurchOnline #ChristianLiving #FocusOnJesus #LifeIsAVapor OUR LIBERTY CHURCH CORE VALUES I Will Worship Enthusiastically I Will  Pray Consistently I Will Grow Intentionally  I Will Serve Humbly I Will Give Generously  I Will Share Boldly Find out more about Liberty Church at www.thelibertyfamily.com  Contact us vis email at libertybcfamily@gmail.com.

May 31st 2026 message from Liberty Church in Lula GA

Many people live with the mindset of, “I think I can.” We try harder, do more good works, become more religious, and hope it will be enough. But in Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus gives one of the most sobering warnings in all of Scripture: not everyone who thinks they know Him actually belongs to Him. In this powerful message, "I Think I Can, I Think I Can," Pastor Eric challenges us to examine where our confidence truly lies. Are we trusting in our own efforts, our church attendance, our good deeds, or are we trusting completely in the finished work of Jesus Christ? The good news of the Gospel is not "I think I can." The good news is "I know He did." Jesus lived the perfect life we could never live, died the death we deserved, and rose again so that all who repent and place their faith in Him can be saved. As you watch this message, ask yourself: • Have I truly repented and trusted Christ? • Is there evidence of repentance in my life? • Am I relying on what I've done or what Jesus has done? Take a few moments to listen, reflect, and share this message with someone who needs the hope of the Gospel today. #IThinkICan #Matthew7 #TheGospel #Repentance #JesusSaves #FaithAlone #GraceAlone #SundaySermon #ChurchOnline OUR LIBERTY CHURCH CORE VALUES I Will Worship Enthusiastically I Will  Pray Consistently I Will Grow Intentionally  I Will Serve Humbly I Will Give Generously  I Will Share Boldly Find out more about Liberty Church at www.thelibertyfamily.com  Contact us vis email at libertybcfamily@gmail.com.

Cheerful or Fearful? | 2 Corinthians 9:6–11 Preached by Pastor Eric Stewart | Sunday, May 17 In this powerful message from 2 Corinthians 9:6–11, Pastor Eric Stewart challenges us to examine our hearts and ask an important question: Am I a cheerful giver or a fearful giver? Building on Paul’s teaching about generosity, this sermon explores the “Law of the Harvest” and reveals how our giving is deeply connected to our faith, trust, and spiritual transformation. Pastor Eric walks through the biblical principle that we reap what we sow, reminding believers that generosity is not ultimately about money—it is about surrender, trust, and obedience to God. This message also highlights the difference between giving driven by fear and giving motivated by joy. Through Scripture and practical application, listeners are encouraged to trust that God is able to provide, multiply, increase, and enrich those who faithfully obey Him. Whether you struggle with fear, scarcity, or simply want to grow deeper in generosity, this sermon will challenge and encourage you to trust God more fully and live with open hands and a joyful heart. April 26th, 2026 message from Liberty Church in Lula, GA

This past Sunday, our lead pastor, Eric Stewart, delivered a powerful message from Second Epistle to the Corinthians 4:1–6 titled “Let There Be Light.” We were challenged to refuse to quit when life gets hard—because what feels like a setback may actually be God setting us up for His glory. The call was clear: get up and don’t give up. Pastor Eric then pressed us deeper—reminding us that real freedom begins when we get honest before God, laying down sin, shame, and anything we’ve been hiding. Because you can’t heal what you won’t reveal. From there, the message turned outward: your light matters. God hasn’t overlooked you—He’s called and sent you. The very answer you’ve been praying for in someone else’s life might be staring back at you in the mirror. We were also reminded of a sobering truth—many people around us are spiritually blind, not resistant but unable to see. That reality should stir compassion and urgency in how we live and love. At the center of it all was this truth: it’s not about us—it’s all about Jesus. He is the source, the mission, and the message. And in the end, the challenge echoed loud and clear:  The question isn’t if there is light—the question is, will you let it shine through you? 🔥 Listen to the full message and be challenged to live it out this week. #LetThereBeLight OUR LIBERTY CHURCH CORE VALUES I Will Worship Enthusiastically I Will  Pray Consistently I Will Grow Intentionally  I Will Serve Humbly I Will Give Generously  I Will Share Boldly Find out more about Liberty Church at www.thelibertyfamily.com  Contact us vis email at libertybcfamily@gmail.com.

April 19th, 2025 message from Liberty Church in Lula, GA

This past Sunday, April 19th, during our morning worship gathering, Lead Pastor Eric Stewart opened up a powerful new journey through the book of 2 Corinthians with a message titled “The Power of Affliction.” Right from the beginning of chapter one, we’re reminded of something that often feels contradictory—yet deeply true: that God is both fully aware of our pain and fully present within it. Paul introduces God as the “Father of mercies and the God of all comfort,” and Pastor Eric unpacked what that really means for us—not as an abstract idea, but as a lived reality. This message challenged us to rethink what comfort actually is. It’s not always God pulling us out of hardship—but more often, it’s God walking with us through it. In a world that constantly seeks escape from pain, we were reminded that God’s promise is His presence, not always immediate relief. As the sermon unfolded, we saw that affliction and comfort don’t exist separately—they often overflow together. The same life that experiences deep struggle can also experience overwhelming grace. It’s in our weakness that God’s strength becomes most visible. One of the most impactful truths from the message was this: our affliction may not just be about us. God can use our pain as a platform to shine light into someone else’s darkness. The struggles we walk through can become testimonies that point others to hope, healing, and ultimately, to Him. Pastor Eric also didn’t shy away from the reality that affliction can feel overwhelming—even to the point of despair. Paul himself described moments where he felt beyond his own strength. But that place of weakness serves a purpose—it shifts our dependence away from ourselves and firmly onto God, the One who raises the dead. And that leads to one of the most hope-filled promises in the message: God will deliver. Not always on our timeline, not always in the way we expect—but His faithfulness is never in question. Even when the answer feels delayed, heaven is not silent, and God is still at work behind the scenes. The message closed with a powerful challenge—affliction carries power. The question is not whether it will shape us, but how. Will it grow us spiritually? Will it draw us into deeper community? Or will it lead us toward bitterness? Ultimately, we were left with this defining question: What power are you allowing affliction to have in your life? This sermon wasn’t just about understanding suffering—it was about reframing it. Seeing it not as meaningless pain, but as a place where God’s comfort, purpose, and power are fully at work.
