E4: Before the Body Says No • Bobby & Marian from Tenerife Healing Garden

Stress rarely arrives all at once. More often, it whispers. It shows up as a little less energy. A little more tension. A body that slowly begins carrying what the mind has been unable to process. Until one day... The body says no. In this conversation, I sit down with Bobby and Marian from Tenerife Healing Garden, the Headquarters for Body & Brain Europe. We explore what happens when we stop treating stress as normal and begin listening to the intelligence of the body instead. We talk about frequency. About healing. About purpose. About why so many of us wait until physical pain forces us to change. Both Bobby and Marian share their own deeply personal journeys into this work, from depression, chronic pain and emotional struggle to helping others reconnect with themselves through movement, awareness and community. We also explore why Tenerife has become home for this extraordinary project, and why perhaps healing was never about fixing ourselves. Perhaps it has always been about remembering who we already are. 🌿 About Tenerife Healing Garden If this conversation resonates with you and you'd like to experience Tenerife Healing Garden for yourself, I'd encourage you to visit their website and say hello to Toby, their AI Digital Concierge. Available day and night, Toby can answer your questions about retreats, classes, accommodation and everything the Healing Garden has to offer, helping you find the experience that's right for you. • 🌐 Healing Garden Website & Toby • 📸 Healing Garden Instagram • 📧 Healing Garden Email: info@tenerifehealinggarden.com In this Episode: • Why stress often becomes physical before we choose to change. • The surprising relationship between energy, emotion and the nervous system. • Bobby's journey from depression to leading the European headquarters of Tenerife Healing Garden. • Marian's experience with chronic pain and the moment everything changed. • Why changing your internal frequency changes your experience of life. • Body & Brain training and how simple daily practices can regulate the nervous system. • The power of community, retreats and learning alongside others. • Tenerife as a place for restoration, reflection and transformation. • Why healing isn't about becoming someone new. • Why the body may be your greatest teacher. 🪶 From the Diaries What has your body been trying to tell you lately? E3: How to Build an Airport with No Land

This episode marks a first... The first video episode of Soul Mechanic Diaries! The first episode with MAIYA, my AI producer, thought partner, researcher and occasional pattern spotter. Perhaps most importantly... The beginning of Season One: How to Build an Airport with No Land. At 1:38am on a warm night in Tenerife, I pressed record with no script, no notes and no real plan beyond trusting the process and seeing where the conversation wanted to go. What followed became a reflection on identity, neurodivergence, entrepreneurship, creativity and what it means to stop asking permission to become yourself. We also travel back exactly twenty years to an email written by twenty six year old Ryan on the day he left his final day job in London and stepped into the unknown. An email that somehow already contained many of the themes still shaping life today. Including: • Music and creativity. • Community and belonging. • Building ecosystems instead of careers. • Entrepreneurship before I had language for entrepreneurship. • The search for freedom. • The courage to trust your own design. In this Episode • Leaving the final day job in London in 2006. • Reading an email written twenty years ago. • Why the metaphor changed from building a house with no land to building an airport with no land. • Neurodivergence and the Ferrari brain with bicycle brakes. • Living in Tenerife after years of nomadic life. • AI as cognitive scaffolding rather than replacement. • Digital concierges, AI ecosystems and human connection. • The return of music after two and a half years without a guitar. • Ladies of the Dragon and Gentlemen of the Dragon. • Why perhaps the goal was never becoming somebody else. • The possibility that all the apparent chaos was actually an ecosystem all along. Listener Challenge How many tabs do you think Ryan currently has open on his computer? Seriously. No clues. No categories. No hints. Submit your guesses by email before Episode Four. Closest answer wins a surprise prize. From the Diaries What would an email written by your younger self reveal about who you've always been? If you found a message from twenty years ago, what would it say? I'd love to hear it. 📩 diaries@ryankoriya.com Thank you for joining me on the journey. Until next time, Trust your design. E2: How to Find Your Tribe Without Losing Yourself • A Birthday Transmission

🎙️ Episode Summary This episode is a birthday week transmission. I’ve just turned 46, and I wanted to capture what this chapter of life actually feels like. Not from a place of panic or pressure, but from a place of calm, clarity, and grounded self-possession. In a world that often feels louder, faster, and more uncertain than ever, I reflect on what it means to stay true to yourself, even when you feel like the lone wolf with a tribe spread out across the world. Because the truth is… Your people are out there and sometimes the path to finding your tribe begins with learning how to stand steady in your own frequency first. In this episode, I share a portrait of where I am right now. Life on a subtropical island, the momentum of a new base, the return of music and community, and the deeper lessons that come with age, perspective, and integration. I also touch on one of the most defining threads of my life... Remaining teetotal in a world full of pressure, vices, and projection, and how self-mastery can become a quiet superpower. This is an episode about belonging. About character. About trusting your timing. About finding your pack without losing your soul. Thank you for being here with me. E1: Welcome • The Courage To Speak

E1: The Courage To Speak  🎙️ Episode Summary It’s already halfway through 2025…  Half a decade since the pandemic and global lockdowns. What a ride it’s been. To be honest, I’m simply grateful to still be here. Things haven’t always been easy. I’ve known real darkness and moments when it felt like hope had left the room. But I’ve also known resilience, inner strength, and the quiet courage it takes to keep going. In this very first episode, I open up about what brought me here, why I’m finally ready to speak more publicly, and why I’m calling this podcast The Soul Mechanic Diaries. I talk about the deep cultural fears around sharing dreams out loud, and how I’ve come to believe that speaking your truth is an act of liberation, but also requires discernment and self-trust. You’ll hear a bit of my backstory. From my upbringing in Zimbabwe, to my nomadic journey as a musician and holistic coach, to working with VIP clients and creatives around the world. I also begin to share my renewed focus in 2025...  reviving my acoustic project, I See Hearts, launching my band project, Cup Tea No Sugar, deepening my coaching work with high-level clients, and creating a course to help women find and keep a high-value man  (and yes, there’s one coming for men too). This is a space for authenticity, reflection, healing, creativity, intimacy, and expansion.  Whether you're an introvert, creative, seeker, or someone simply trying to live more honestly in an often confusing world. Thank you for listening in. It means a lot.  Let’s take this journey together. Catch you in the next one, Ryan Koriya The Soul Mechanic ✨  If this episode resonated, please share it or leave a review. It helps this soulful little space grow.  🌀 Links Mentioned:•  ✨ VIP Coaching & 1-on-1 Sessions •  💘 Love Code: SIGMA podcast (Dating & Intimacy) •  🎵 I See Hearts (Music Project) •  🎸 Cup Tea No Sugar (Music Project)• 🎧 Drowning in Space (Podcast Theme Track)   📬 Contact If you would like to book a call to discuss more about how I can help you change any unhealthy habits or patterns that are holding you back, or to help you get unstuck in your love life or your career, please email me on podcast@ryankoriya.com or DM me on Instagram.

From Pre-Op Angst To Genuine Excitement By Hypnosis

In this episode, I have a chat with a client just days after her hip-replacement operation. We discuss how in just one life coaching (Soul Mechanic) session, I helped her go from being crippled by fear, to feeling genuine excitement about checking into hospital. She was surprised by how different her hospital visit experience was, compared to past times. Usually feeling claustrophobic she was now experiencing a more 5-Star hotel type of adventure in hospital, achieved by coaching her unconscious mind as well as her conscious mind. Listen in to find out what Claudia has to say about her Soul Mechanic session with me just six days before her dreaded operation. She also shares her experience with learning about self-directed neuroplasticity and how our one hour session felt more like a fun chat that quickly shifted her initial feelings of dread when she thought about checking in to hospital. If you would like to book a call to discuss more about how I can help you change any unhealthy habits or patterns that are holding you back, or to help you get unstuck in your love life or your career, please email me on podcast@ryankoriya.com or DM me on Instagram. Subscribe to this Higher Yourself podcast for specific life tools to help you declutter your inner world and feel more grounded and centred. That is a space you want to be making your life decisions from. I’ll also be sharing some of my self-directed neuroplasticity change stories that have taken me to places that didn’t seem possible beforehand. Soul Mechanic coaching sessions are often fun and intriguing, and empower people to continue working on their inner change wherever in the world they are.
