A Live Conversation with Clare Farrell

Thank you Teàrlach, David Johnston, Teri, Augusta Kantra, and many others for tuning into my live video with the amazing Clare Farrell. We talked about spirituality and activism, self-sufficiency, what the world needs right now and all sorts of other things - I could have talked to Clare for hours. Enjoy. You’ll get one more email from me this week on Thursday - more than usual - but it’s my birthday so I hope you’ll forgive me! And whilst I’m here, there are three places left on my 8 week online course ‘Essentials of Bright Earth Buddhism’ (7pm - 8pm on Thursdays, starting next week.) I would be delighted if you wanted to join us. Read more and register here. Love Satya This is a public episode. 🌼 'Noticing' & Ralph the Dog

We’re in Mindful May! Each week I’m sharing a short video related to the theme of the week and our first week is about noticing. I’m sharing this first video with everyone. In this video I speak about the difference between blending with a part of ourselves (my self-consciousness) and witnessing a part of ourselves, using ideas from Internal Family Systems. There are also two unfortunate interruptions from Ralph the dog but rather than starting the recording again I trusted that you were happy to see him, even if he is a little growly. Here he is looking handsome and holding his ‘nervous dog’ lead 🐾 If you want to access the remaining three videos, essays & prompts for Mindful May, become a paid subscriber here. If you can’t afford it, read about low cost subscriptions here. My new ‘Love, Satya’ love letters will begin in June. This is a public episode. Shouting Dogs

On the parallels between reactivity in Ralph and the fireworks that get triggered in our heads (and what we can do about it). Thanks for listening. This is a public episode. Snuffling dogs & different voices inside

I may do more of these for paid subscribers (or some for paid and some for everyone) - do let me know what you think and let me know what topics you’d like me to riff on. Thanks for listening :) (the hoovering has stopped and the dogs are quiet now I’ve finished. typical…) This is a public episode.
