Ep 144 - Simon Lovegrove: If the context is right, you’ll get traction.

Chris talks to Simon Lovegrove, director at Harthill Consulting, a leadership development firm that brings adult learning theory together with leadership development. Simon and the Harthill Team work a fundamental question into their design architecture: how can we make it inevitable that if a participant comes to this program, it will make a difference to them? In this episode, you’ll hear: How the Harthill team leverages Actionable as a means to follow through on and measure the impact of the difference they’re making. How Simon engages all levels of participant - including senior leaders - in changing their behavior. The “slam dunk” moment when a program debrief outlining organizational impact led to more work with a key client. If you need someone standing in your corner or if you want a thinking partner when it comes to adult learning + development, reach out to Simon on the Hive or LinkedIn. Ep 143 - Joe Bradford: I’ve earned the right to preach change by living it myself.

Chris talks to Joe Bradford, founder of Amberwise Ltd and a seasoned consultant with over 20 years of experience in infrastructure projects and safety leadership. Like many of us, Joe has battled imposter syndrome for his entire career. Lately, that imposter syndrome has disappeared. In this episode, you’ll hear: Joe’s journey with imposter syndrome – and how he got to where he is now. How Joe positions and manages two levels of program goal: the technical on-paper goals (e.g. improving safety in the workplace) and the squishier ones that really make it happen (e.g. relationship development) The validation Joe gets - and provides - through engaging his participants in behavior change. Joe is consistently achieving top adoption and engagement metrics, and it all comes down to how he sets up Habit Builder in the room with his participants. Reach out to Joe for support here. You can find him in The Hive or on LinkedIn. Chris Taylor is the founder and CEO of Actionable.co. Ep 142 - Simon Geoghegan: It’s a privilege to do this work.

Chris talks to Simon Geoghegan, founder of Yellow House Inc., a boutique consulting firm that supports C-Suite teams in midsized companies, focusing on leader growth, complexity management, and business development. Simon has recently experienced a mental shift of Actionable being a thing to do at the end of a session to a vehicle for change. In this episode, he highlights: How that change occurred and how his business has profited as a result. Building a deeper relationship with participants via coaching through the Actionable platform and the flywheel of higher engagement, better outcomes, and better stakeholder relationships that it creates. The deep value that Simon has found in the Actionable Consulting Partner community. Reach out to Simon in The Hive or LinkedIn. Hear about: How Loren + her team differentiate with potential clients through their ability to surface + support what happens after a learning intervention. Loren’s $1M strategy to reignite past clients by using Habit Builders to sustain the impact of previously delivered programs. How one of their most successful programs has led to long-term relationships between participants. Reach out to Loren if you’re a facilitator who wants to join a high-performing, awesome group. Ep 140 - Jenny Drescher: Ask for help

Chris talks to Jenny Drescher, cofounder of The Bolder Company, a consultancy that helps manufacturers to be more adaptable, flexible, and communicative. Jenny originally joined ACPs in Action in episode 126, where she discussed how The Bolder Company integrates Actionable into their programs. Today, she’s here to discuss their experience onboarding with Actionable: their initial excitement followed by overwhelm and complexity, and the specific choices they made to come out the other side of the learning curve overachieving, kicking goals, and winning more and more business. Ep 139 - Carleen Hicks: I was ready to hang it up.

Chris talks to Carleen Hicks, a Master Coach, Workshop Content Developer, and Facilitator at Clariti Group. After years of mastery in her practice, Carleen experienced a crisis of faith as a facilitator. She was questioning her relevance and was prepared to stop facilitating. Learning Impact Design – designing and delivering impact instead of training – was the key. Whether you’re the leader of a firm or a team member delivering at your firm, Carleen’s journey will have insight for you. She talks about: How to reduce friction so participants have an optimal experience. The power of priming and social contracting prior to commitment creation. The surprising shift that happened when she stopped delivering so much content and layered in more time for context. If you want to talk to Carleen about how to get your facilitators as jazzed as she is, connect with her on The Hive or on LinkedIn. Chris Taylor is the founder and CEO of Actionable.co. Ep 138 - Chris Taylor: It’s truly noble work.

After 36 episodes - 36 conversations with generous, vulnerable, exceptional people in the Actionable Consulting Partner Community - Chris reflects on key trends and themes that have come through, particularly from people who have really unlocked the potential of Actionable. People who have really made their investment in Actionable work to their benefit - financially and from an identity standpoint - do the following: They decide to be a driver of change. Not a toe-dip. Not a taste-test. A full-on decision. Then, they amplify that decision through action and show their clients and prospects that behavior change is embedded in your DnA. They deliberately embed the methodology into their programs - from marketing and sales to design, delivery, and debrief. They lean in to and embrace the identity of being a change agent, bring deliberateness to how they level up their practice, and stay curious. Chris Taylor is the founder and CEO of Actionable.co.
