    Revelation Part 5 - A New Heaven and a New Earth

    Tonight we finish up the book of Revelation! In the last three chapters of Revelation, John sees the final defeat of evil, the judgment of all things, and the creation of a new heaven and a new earth! The darkness is gone, death is no more, and God dwells with His people. I got very emotional during this episode, mostly because of being sick for so long. And you will hear it. I did not correct it this time. I long for the day when God will wipe every tear from our eyes! There will be no more mourning or crying or pain! None of our friends or family will suffer anymore. We won't suffer. We will have new glorious bodies. Thank God! I cannot wait for that day. We are reading Revelation 20 through 22.     Revelation Part 4 - The Fall of Babylon and the Return of Christ

    As we continue in Revelation chapters 17 through 19, John is shown the fall of Babylon, the triumph of heaven, and the best part... the victorious return of Jesus Christ! Here we see God's perfect justice and His faithfulness to fulfill His promises. Hallelujah! How I long for that day, as I know you all do as well. I still find myself struggling with the fear of the end of time and the fear of death itself. But I remind myself that as a Christian, we do not have to be afraid. Even so, God understands that we are human. He is ready to give us His perfect peace that passes all human understanding. I pray for this. We are reading Revelation 17 through 19.     Revelation Part 3 - The Woman, the Dragon, and the Seven Angels

    Well, according to the polls the majority of you felt ready to continue with Revelation! In Part 3, the focus shifts to the spiritual battle taking place behind the events of history. John sees visions of the woman, the dragon, the beasts, and the seven angels with their bowls. This is where the mark of the beast is mentioned. We don't need to be afraid--we just need to make sure we follow the commands of God and have the faith of Jesus. Then we will have the seal of God.     Revelation Part 2 - The Seven Seals

    Reading Revelation again has definitely shifted my focus. In part 2, we encounter the opening of the seals and the sounding of the seven trumpets by seven angels. Do you see how much God loves the number seven? As you listen, if you find yourself becoming fearful, remind yourself that God does not give us a spirit of fear... but of power and love and self-discipline. The devil wants us to be afraid when we read Revelation. God wants us to be prepared. He is laying it out for us. Once again, I pray that we are ready. **I know these are heavy episodes.     Revelation Part 1 - The Seven Churches

    We have had many requests for the book of Revelation! It's such an important book--especially during these times. Revelation begins with a vision of Jesus given to the apostle John. In part one, Jesus speaks to His seven churches, asking them to remain faithful, and calling out their errors. The focus is not fear, but worship, endurance, and the authority of Christ over all things. Revelation says "Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near."     The Story of Joseph (Full Episode)

    I finally finished remastering all the Joseph episodes. This includes removing some background noise and slowing it down just a little. I had to laugh because this is such a long episode! One of my favorite stories from the Bible--such a great comeback story. God always has a plan and is always working behind the scenes. Even when times seem dark, we won't need to be afraid. His rod and his staff will comfort us. He doesn't give us the spirit of fear. He gives us power, love, and self-control! He longs for you to have peace. It's something I struggle with daily, but over and over again I have to put my trust in Him. The more you do it, the more natural it will become.     The Book of Hebrews - Part 2

    Part 2 of Hebrews (chapters 8 through 13), shifts from explaining who Jesus is to showing what His work means for us. These chapters highlight the new covenant. Jesus is our perfect High Priest who opened a better way to approach God, through His once-for-all sacrifice. And God's law is now written on our hearts and in our minds. Chapter 11 is commonly known as "the faith chapter." This one hit me hard. It starts off well but then gets difficult to read. So many before us risked their lives and suffered in order to further the gospel and the message of the love of Christ. The book ends with practical encouragement: hold fast, run with perseverance, and fix your eyes on Jesus. We are reading Hebrews 8 through 13.     The Book of Hebrews - Part 1

    We don't know for sure who wrote the books of Hebrews. Some suggestions include Paul, Barnabas, or Luke. Hebrews is a powerful encouragement to believers who were feeling tired and pressured in their faith. Its central message is simple but profound: Jesus is greater. Greater than angels, Moses, the priesthood, and the old covenant. Because of Him, we now have direct access to God and a better hope. The books calls us to hold fast, draw near to God, and keep going, even when faith feels difficult. Jesus is our high priest, and the perfect high priest, because he can sympathize with our every weakness. How amazing is that? We can go to Him with everything and He understands us. Thank God.
